I did not deny the fact that xbox players can do it. Its just a much beigger part of the PC game due to medi-gel cancelling which is far more efficient.

Hit the Y button on the Xbox. There's your reload cancel on that platform.
Your suggesting using a power??? That takes time which could be used to simply reload the weapon...

I never considered it an exploit. I always think of it as how Gears of War is - when timed correctly, the reload is faster.
But active reloads were an intended part of the game....I dont think bioware sat there and said "lets make it so players can cancel out reload times making all weapons reload really fast!"

It is possible on xbox, you just have to use a power instead.rtizz6446 wrote...

You're new at this aren't you?
Hit the sprint button or use a power to reload cancel (whether the power is on cooldown or not), as intended by the game designers.
Someone close this pointless topic now plz?

It works while a power is on cooldown. It's a pretty good strategy if your using an infiltrator. You get to put your cloak up and reload in half the time. Then while it's cooling down you can cancel again and pop off another shot, then repeat the process.

No, actually it cuts down on reload time and performs the skill, if said skill wasn't on cooldown.
Others have pointed these out, but your other options are to use a skill that's on cooldown, use a grenade power with no grenades left over (which I've personally never done), combat roll/dodge, get in/out of cover, sprint, or use a medigel.
The only reasons why it's easier to reload cancel with medigel is because it a) does absolutely nothing if you're not down, and

Something like actively cutting your reload time with medi-gel canceling seems like exploiting to me :/
Thank you! Someone who actually takes an objective look at the situation. Everyone else has just said "Its not a glitch because I use it and im awesome."
