Is that a joke or are you serious? Last time I checked Liara is a Pureblood. She even says so in dialogue with Shepard on the Normandy in ME1.

Her father was Matriarch Atheyna who's father was a krogan.

What was that in, a book, comic or somthing? I didn't know there was any record of it.

It is 100%, in game fact.

OP: actually, I like it. In ME1, Asari looked like normal human women with blue skin. In ME2/ME3, they looked like an alien race.

Doesn't mean I'm into Asari. ^^
But it makes that race more authentic.

I loved Liaras new skin textures. Made her far more interesting to look at.

I love that they finally made the asari look more alien, and more so the asari were initially thought as aquatic species, so the little tiny scales are pretty awesome, I like that very much, also explains the lack of body hair ;)
asari be alien and be awesome

She looks like she could use some moisterizing before rubbing up against Shepard.

I think it was a missed opportunity when Aethyta says about Benezia
"...and damn! That rack!"

I thought she was going to follow up with something like:
"Though you're not doing too bad in that department yourself kid"

Do asari peel? Do the scales come off if you pick at them?

Leathery? I've always thought Asari were an aquatic mammal so their skin is sort of a hybrid between human-like skin and scales.

ITT we wonder why aliens aren't human.

I like the way some of the Asari had pearlescent skin in ME1 Sha'ira the consort for example. That disappeared pretty fast.

Anyone needs a brush to clean those scales from bed and chair's?

Anyone need a bar of soap for Tali? Considering that Quarians don't bathe often at all (they're rarely out of their suits), she must smell like an aged cheese wrapped in old fish and sweaty gym socks, fermented for a good year or two in Tiger ******.

.

No bacteria, no bad smell.

And good detail on the previous post quoting the krogans.

Using just what you pointed out about asari's mammaries and larger pores than humans.  That leads me to think of other such mammals, like rhinoceros, elephants and cows.  Hard for me to picture as soft.  Icky.

But I do agree that it should be soft for all the in-game stuff to make sense.

Eh?! Leathery Liara... that sounds like an insult. Last time I checked; humans love leather. From the way it looks. To the way it smells, its feel and the sounds it makes when you move in it. Leave Liara alone! She's beautiful how she is in Mass Effect 3. With all that lovely skin texture mapping.

I've always sort of scene Asari as Mermaids in Space. And as others here have said.I too like how much more distinctly alien the asari look in ME3.

Why are everyone saying that quarians lack bacteria?? From what I remember Rannoch lacked insect life, not microscopic life (which from an evolutionary view wouldn´t make sense either considering how species evolve).

They wear environmental suits.  Don't you notice when they talk about suit punctures, infection and sickness?

They have weak immune systems.  When bacteria gets into the suit they get sick.  It must be inferred that normally there is no bacteria inside their suits, and therefore there wouldn't be a bad smell.

She probably doesn't smell like that. More like some sort of disinfectant. Actually prefer what I said before now. Image IPB

Wouldn't taste good, but it would taste better.

Guess it's obvious I had a beer too much, right?

Back to Liara.
How does she smell and taste? I'm no Asari expert, but I'd like to know ...
