are the bane of my PUG existence.

Random goes down (Hunter, Pyro, Marauder, whatever).  Doesn't tell anyone what killed him.  Second random goes over to revive him.  One of two things happen.

A) He revives him, and gets killed.  Then the first random either runs away, but goes down in the process OR he tries to revive him, and goes down.  A third random goes over to help, not knowing anything about the situation because nobody is talking, and gets killed too.  I then solo the Wave.

or

B) He fails to revive, and gets killed himself.  A third random.goes over to help, and... you know the rest.

Moral of the story: if that first random had just used some ****ing medi-gel, this whole mess could've been averted.

I have less than 20 Medi-Gels. If I go to a Gold match and I trust my team. I won't use it, 'cause I know they can handle a few Hunters. If my team sucks, I'll just bleed out and let them die.

At least, I don't rq. =p

Any player who is not ready and willing to use every last bit of their consumables is a bad teammate.  There is no excuse.  They are bad and they should feel bad.

yeah, ragequitting is bad too and characteristic of those that don't use medi-gel. You leave me alone to solo Wave 8 because you don't want to use medi-gel and wiped the rest of the squad. Fine. But now I'm down to the last enemy, and I realize you quit because you were mad -_-

He shouldn't have to. The game announces it on the kill feed. I have no trouble seeing this.
That's your lack of awareness, not the guys fault.

Playing with you has gotten me into the habit of just medi-gelling whenever I go down, even if a teammate is right on top of me.  Damn you GP

If i dont deem the team good enough to make it to round 10 i wont use any consumables.

Ive been in enough games where ive used all my consumables reviving team mates and soloing rounds, that i just dont care anymore.

Id rather let myself die, so everyone else dies and i can find a better lobby.

I don't think you read my OP.  I'm not the one involved in the chain revive game.  Also, it's not the enemy that killed him that's the problem, it's the three other enemies there that the kill feed doesn't show.

Why, that hurt. If it's wave 1-2 and my team blatantly sucks, I won't go down with them. There's no point if they're just gonna hold you back by wave 6 or 7. But, if I acknowledge that my team is doing well and we do have a shot, then I will use my Consumables.

I learned my lesson after I went from 180 Medi-Gels to 20 in a couple weeks. Do you imply that someone who decides to be practical is worse than a teammate who refuses to stay with the team during a Hack/Upload?. 'Cause I sure don't think so.

I don't use my medi-gel unless:

1) Whole team is down (wow they must suck and think my adept is a laser painter)

2) My bleed out bar is almost done and nobody has made it to revive me

This however doesn't mean I'm expecting my teammates to jump between the whole enemy wave I aggroed to myself to revive me. Don't attempt it unless you feel that you and the one you're reviving can get out alive.

I agree with GP.  My Medi-Gels and rockets are at 200+, and I will definitely use 5 every match if I have to, especially rockets.

You have failing reading comprehension fails. He was sayin that it's your teams fault for not looking at the kill feed to see what owned the teammate that went down.  You all suck for not going as a team to revive the downed teammate in the first place.

Thank you. I tip my beanie hat to you, ser.

I ALWAYS check the kill feed. If it's a Turret, or a Phantom, or an Atlas, or a Prime, or a Pyro, I'll be cautious and I'll do my best to revive you. It's not my problem if I die and my teammate has no idea what killed me. Even if he doesn't know, he shouldn't just rush to revive me, completely oblivious of what's lurking.

Lol. This goes directed to you, GodlessPaladin. You always mention Situational Awareness in your builds as an intrinsic factor in a player's ability. You should agree on this.

Oh, I go all out on rockets during waves 8-10, especially if it's a "Eliminate Target" OP. I will run and cloak with my rockets ready. I love those praises from my teammates after I finish the entire mission in less than a minute.

I beat Gold with a level 12 SI. I believe in my agility, awareness and my team.

if you beat gold enough, then you pick up habits like medi-gelling and using rockets.

I only remember one guy who made it his mission to do 0 revives throughout two games. That was one crazy geth infiltrator.

Not true.

If you beat gold enough then you learn when to recognise a lost cause.

2 gold games is 145k-150k credits (depending on the quality of randoms). That's one PSP and one JEP, which should cover all consumables you use in 2 gold games. Gold games take between 20-25 mins. with randoms. I don't understand how anyone could not have medi-gel.

False. If you're good enough and your team is competent enough, you pick up the habit of staying alive.
