It gets annoying because sometimes you can be all geared up and can be a waste of consumeables if players don't gel when they get downed, even if they are trying out new kits, you should still try to win the match instead of just giving up...

Just to be clear, using medigel BEFORE others get the chance to revive you is the bad thing, you do not believe there are people around which use medigel right before you try to revive him?

Edit: basically just wanted to disagree to the OP, I rather would like to try to revive somone in a risky place then just stay in my secure place and make kills, I think it is a funny and important part of the game. And I always give the other people the chance to revive me in such place too before I would use medigel, also if we risk to fail.

If you just play for yourself, trying to make a lot of kills, using medigel when you fall, you might be effective but is that really fun? You could play solo.

Edit2: the issue with BSN'er is rather that they use too much and too early the gel instead save it for urgency. PUG'er which don't use gel you might not find in this forum. ;-)

just use a missle.

risky revives are only made by me when I have a missle out or that im confident I can do it rather than having a sense of blind optimism.

Your typical PUG isn't going to clear the area with a missile prior to attempting a revive. That's the point I'm trying to get across. I'd rather gel early, hit an ops pack and get the hell out of there than wait for someone who may or may not be smart enough to revive me under ideal circumstances.

I also prefer to use a missle for others than a gel for myself.

I was in a gold match last night, this happened to me, one guy went down I revived him, happened about omg lost count lol, comes to wave 10, the other 2 bled out, just me and this other guy, im playing the geth soldier level 10, he goes down again, I revive him, 2 objectives to go, he goes down again and im on the other side of the map, i ask him to gel no answer so I run revive him again. gets to the last objective, he goes down again I try to revive but I go down, so I though hmm lets see if he gets up, nope so I gel get up and he says well you not going to revive me, I say to many enemies around you gel we need to get the last objective, he replies well if you wont revive me then FU and left the mission, I managed to finish the wave on my own and we extracted, his loss, some pugs make me sick.

That's a rumor.  Prime's can't sync kill you if there is a height differential.  Your friend was probably on the same step / height on the ramp, allowing him/herself to be sync killed.  Happens to me all the time...

Primes, especially the ones on Wave 3 Gold, are probably among the deadliest sync killers in the game.

Expecting medi-gel use is simply too much of asking for most of PuGs...
That said.. I feel bad for those who burn all their medi-gel by wave 2 and ragequit.

Today, I kicked a guy who was trying to use no equipment & lvl 7 character on Gold. Totally noob.
I don`t expect anything from these guys.. but they can at least do better than brining in sub-level 10 character to gold matches.
