randoms that don't medi-gel

I use my gear sparingly and, fortunately, rarely, but I'm not going to waste gear on a losing battle to prop up a useless team, if they want to use all their gear they have up, that's another matter, but it's just not worth it sometimes.

-You are not ready and willing to use all of your consumables (Medi-gel, Ops Pack, Cobra, Thermal Clip Pack), for any reason. There is no excuse for not using your medigel or missiles.
-You use Ultralight Materials, and not on a Geth Plasma SMG.
-You are using a Widow, and not on an Infiltrator, and think it's awesome.
-You try to revive a teammate right next to a Turret, and then get downed by the Turret.
-You are unaware that banshee grabs can be interrupted, and stand there staring at an ally getting grabbed right in front of you without lifting a finger.
-You fire at stasised enemies, break stasis, and don't kill the enemy, thus making them significantly harder to kill for your asari teammates. You might as well be firing a medigun at those Phantoms.
-You "guard" your teammate, especially if it's an infiltrator, by standing right on top of her while she is capping an objective, thus causing her to get hit and staggerred by brutes, missiles, and so forth.
-You spam Overload on armored targets on a team full of biotics, then complain that they could have "just used Throw twice." Especially if they are playing a class without Throw.
-You try to "camp" spawns by standing right on top of them (or anyplace that blocks them, really), and never notice that you're actually blocking the spawn.
-You spend time running around killing random enemies on objective rounds.
-You play Firebase White Geth Gold almost exclusively and think you are an elite player for doing so.
-You use missiles in any of the ways listed on the "DO NOT" list in this thread.
-You think N7 rank matters.
-You revive players when a phantom or banshee with a readied sync kill is standing directly on top of them, and think you're helping.
-You revive yourself with medigel when a phantom or banshee with a readied sync kill is standing directly on top of you, when you have a choice (e.g. you aren't the last one down and therefore they will walk away from your body).

Bronze: higher than wave 6
Silver: higher than wave 4
Gold: higher than wave 3
Overidden by: being the only player left on a non-target objective wave.

so basically, u guys don't use medi-gel because u feel you can't beat gold with bad randoms?
Recognizing a "lost cause" implies that their own survival does not provide a chance of completing the wave.

Totally unrelated but do you miss D&D 2nd ed. and 3.5 as much as I do?

I still play D&D 3.5e. I'm starting a new online campaign soon, actually, and don't have a fourth player lined up yet.

Nope.
I just dont want to carry bad players that cause the game to last much longer.
I would rather find a game with better players that are worthy of me playing at a good level and using my consumables.

if you beat gold enough, then you pick up habits like medi-gelling and using rockets.
I played with randoms on gold. They went down against geth almost every round. I staggered until wave 9, using 3 rockets and 4 medigels. I went down because the hunters. I asked over the mic, to should i use my last medigel? They didn't bother to answer (they all had mics). I let myself die. I'm certain we wouldn't pull of the wave 10 objective. Com'on 1 guy was an salarian infiltrator and even with cloak he went down all the time... And I don't believe the "i don't have medigel, derp..." crap, because the jumbo packs. It's cheap and it drops medigel and missiles steadily. I had one wich dropped 15 missiles.

Don't worry. One random told me I sucked for using a missile on Wave 3 to switch enemy targets from a Banshee to a Marauder.

exactly. thank you!
I played in a party of all Geth Infiltrators today. Supposedly GIs are overpowered. Is that why everybody is bleeding out in Wave 2?

Exactly. I cannot comprehend this behavior. And then they use one on the geth prime that have 1 armor bar left.

None of these apply to me. =)
I just rationalize the usage of Medi-Gels. Especially when it's a Gold match and a few bad choices can end up dropping your entire team and leaving you in dire need of an extra 'Gel.

EDIT: How is this about me? We didn't wipe. Except the Gold match took 44 minutes. 44 minutes. For one gold match. Why? Because my squad wiped every second round, and nobody used medi-gel.

Musta done it for the lolz. If you don't missle very often you can end up with a lot rolling round your equiptment screen.

Just because someone is not on your friend list doesn't make them bad players, the only thing that makes someone a bad player is if he is playing badly - being random has nothing to do with it.

Is there some physical rule that says that if someone is playing as random instead of a group of friends it means he's a bad player? I can't count the number of threads that obsess about how "bad those randoms are". well whiners - YOU are another random to someone else, and i know each one of you think that all these complaints have nothing to do with you, i mean, how could they? you are all such amazing players that solo gold while holding the controller between your ass cheeks right?

there is no physical rule, but everybody on my friends list uses medi-gel. Don't encounter this problem, except in in PUGs. Tragedy of the commons and all that.
