GodlessPaladin is a bit harsh, but he is trying to make a point.  If you ready-up then you have basically committed to going for the full 11 waves.  Maybe you will get on a team that is poor, but those comsumables are trivial to get now so why be a jerk and not use something that is so easy to replace.   We have all played with some bad characters, it happens.   
 But really do you really value those digital assets so much that they will make you play like a leecher?

-Geth dance party on my corpse, lovely lack of invincibility frames will toast me in seconds anyway
-Cerberus Turret planted next to me, unless it's Glacier or something and can dive behind the close cover fast enough

Carryin people ist hard and if you know you can solo the waves, why bother crying about randoms not using medigels?

I mean I know I can solo modt situation so I really dont care and if i play with friends I dont use medigel because I know I can trust on them and they can trust on me.

If you got the e-peen to say abd do solo gold , why whine about randoms screwing up a match?

I enjoy carrying a low n7 guy with low gear etc. Because they learn from it.

  I never said it was hard, nor did I "cry" about anything.  I said that people who come into a game not intending to give an honest best effort are bad teammates.

  This is flat out baiting.  I didn't say anything about soloing gold in this thread, and I don't see how being able to solo Gold means one has an "e-peen."  You are essentially equating being skilled to being egotistical, which is pretty twisted.

I happened to do a 2 players game on a public I was hosting (2 players by accident). Against all odds, we made it to full extraction. From what the guy told me on Origin (I added him after), not only had he much enjoyed that game, but in the later games we had during this particular sessions I could see he was really getting along with his built.

I rarely get any, just ammo packs and cobras. Not that it really brings my team down. My usual cause of death is thinking we've taken out enough that I can relax a bit and - Phantom-stabbed/Ravager blasted/surprise Hunter attack.

By this point, it's not that risky to revive, and usually clearing out the bad guys is faster and safer anyway.

I use medi-gel when:
1-Head is about to be stomped
2-Rest of team went down and wave not a lost cause
3-Almost dead in the later waves

Had too many situations where used medi-gel to have guy over me second later for the revive, or used gel early and then in wave 10-11 needed it but...damn I wasted it eariler. I pretty much play with randoms all the time, most of them rarely talk, and me I'll pipe up only when it is critical like "Downed next to turrent stay away."

ETA: Plus most of the weekend I had no medi-gel at all, makes playing Gold a nice challenge but fun as hell.  Either I never noticed the jumbo pack until yeterday, or it just came back out after the event.  Guess where all my money is going now so I can stockpile.

Im pretty good about using my medigels at the right time, not using them when its better off just bleeding out. (IE very early on, when two turrets are camping you, theres a banshee patiently waiting for me to get up) now spec op packs I need to curb my addiction to those.

I won't just use a medigel. I evaluate the situation. If it is early, and no one is coming for me, then I'll just let myself bleed out. If it is a later wave, and especially if more guns/powers are needed. Especially if I am part of a biotic comboing duo, and too far away from my buddy or we simply can't afford for either of us to be helplessly reviving somebody.

But the whole team or even just myself has just been swarmed by enemies, or mowed down by a turret, I am not going to go through all my medigel. Especially if it is not a hacking objective round.

Sometimes the way the map is, the way the team is speced, using their characters, and how the team is gelling together, using medigels is just a waste of good equipment. Using all my medigel, rockets, and survival packs and then never making it past wave 9 seems like a waste to me. To me they are things to use in a pinch, and not to be reliant upon them.

Wait what?  If someone is coming for you, that would be the time not to use a medigel.  Not the other way around.

Wait what?  If someone is coming for you, that would be the time not to use a medigel.  Not the other way around. 

I see the reasoning behind it.

If someones trying to get to him, but cant get there in time, he uses a medigel.
But if nobodys bethering to even try to get to him, he lets himself bleed out.

I use medi-gel when I'm in the epicentre of **** and I go down, or when we're at the beginning / middle of the wave and I'm about to bleed out. Will I use a medi-gel at the end of a wave, after we get the credits on wave 10, or on wave 11? There's about a snowball's chance in hell of that happening, so you can submit your queries and/or complaints to my special mailbox - the trash-god-damn-can.

All you do is make people who dont share the Same mindset look ridiculous by linking either strawman or other Wikipedia links.

I agree with you on certain things and some things your completely right about but sometimes i'm just asking why are you trying to flash your e-peen and your negativity in such an obvious way.

Not everyone plays to be the best (I do), some play for fun or are newbies who dont Carry medigel or have only a bit knowledge about the game. You can't expect all of them to use medigel whenever they want and if you Call them leechers if they dont use it when you want it, then you are a Sad person.

Now that the JEP is a permanent addition there is very little excuse for not using medi-gel whenever humanly possible. I honestly now consider any random who prefers to bleed out no different than an idle leecher. The only person forcing you not to re-up on or use gel is yourself so don't be surprised if I let you die... especially when I don't need your help to finish the round.
