I was trying to purchase Shadow Broker for Mass Effect 2, however when I go to purchase it I get "An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later" . For the last 3 weeks I have been getting this error message. Please fix it. I would like to be able to finaly purchase the DLC.

please hurry up and fix this because EA help is usless they cant fix it I have talked to them 3 times today alone. and they cant merge my accounts.

You can try sending a PM to Jesse van Herk, he's occasionally in the correct forum for the question you are asking, Jesse.Reid and Jeff Roussell do not monitor this forum 24/7. I'm not sure either of them even comes here as often as once a day. ALL OF THE SOCIAL FORUMS, every one, are designed for Gamer to Gamer interaction, not for what you want and need. Only the Chatline to EA is suitable to handle your question correctly.

I have spoken to the ea chat line 3 times today and they tell me theres nothing they can do.

We are checking into this problem. It's likely only affecting people who have played Kingdom's of Amalur, which is also why you couldn't see your registered game content a few days ago.

I spoke with the team in charge of the DLC purchasing site and they suggested the following.
- Try clearing your browser cache and cookies.
- Try purchasing in a separate web browser.
- Make sure you have enough BioWare points when making the purchase.

@theyoria this likely isn't the problem but I'd like to confirm you've tried these steps. If you have tried these steps and it still fails please let me know the exact time, including timezone, you tried to purchase Lair of the Shadow Broker and received the error.

I'm getting it too. I can't buy points with paypal on the bioware website or on origin, Exactly the same thing happens.

Still can't buy points to buy mass effect 2 or 3 DLC. I'm a huge fan why hasn't this been sorted out yet? I'm using paypal and tried credit card to add points still got nothing

There is a separate forum dealing with points, if that's what's wrong, but the same situation applies there as here. There is no such thing as constant, or even regular, attention from Bethesda on the message traffic in either of the forums.
