When I try to launch the game, it says something like "Settings invalid, please reinstall the game" or something like that (can't check the exact phrasing right now, in the process of installing for the 4th time)

All I did was go into the configuration tool and set my resolution to 1650x1050 and the graphics to high and save settings, then clicked Play at the main menu.

I'm currently using windows 7 64 bit, radeon hd 4850, 4 gigs of ram, core 2 duo 3.0 ghz dual core processor. I bought my game from Direct2Drive if that matters.
