Agree. There IS potential in their ending concepts, but it was horribly presented/executed. If EC fixes that, I think great majority of fans will be happy.Tazzmission wrote...

Well first they have to write a script. Plan out scenes. Get voice work. Animate. It's not a very quick process.
That is if any of this is actually in the DLC and not just Shepard running into a beam in slow motion or text boxes.
But I think same amount of time wud b required to come up with a DLC with actual gameplay in it. Like LotSB, that had like 3-4 hrs of gamekplay and more than 20-30 minutes of cutscenes and dialogues.

Well I THINK I read that this is more of a fixer upper for the ending then an actual dlc. To help explain and add details to it. If there is actual gameplay then well I'm not sure what they would put in. Unless it was perhaps a thing like the Fallout DLC that gave you different options. Something about choosing a immune to poison/radiation character to go into a toxic zone rather then kill your character. yeah I never played those games I'm going by stuff I read during ME3's release.

see the things im confused about are and shockingly i dont mind the relays blowing up at all and i really had to think on it also
my list of confusion
why cant we learn more of the catalyst? what is his hard on for comitting genocide on synthetics? the answer he gives still dosent help shepard and the player understand
how did the 2 people in my squad i had with me go to the beam on the normandy? did they retreat when shepard was blasted by harbys beam?
the normandy crash needs explination because 1. why is it only joker edi my love interest and javik that survive? what happened to the others? did they did in the crash?
2nd. do the survivng crew of the normandy meet a culture on the planet they land on? or does the alliance issue a search and rescue? without the relays how many years wil it take to find them?
also how did tim controll shepard into shooting anderson? is it because maybe tim slipped in a chip that he once said no to?

LOTSB still took 3 months after Overlord was released. Overlord took 2 months after Kasumi was released etc.DGMockingJay wrote...

Just because there're no new gameplay areas to be made in EC doesn't mean it has less work to do. Think about it. If they're implementing cutscenes for War Assets during Priority: London, they may dozens of necessary cutscenes/pre-rendered movies to create depending on choices/which War Assets you got.

Considering they won't remvoe anything, no way they can fix how are this endings presented.
I mean shooting a part of of Crucible to activate it to destroy Reapers?
Throwing yourself into Crucible beam to make everyone a borg?
Space magic of Synthesis?
Forcing everyone to be borg?
Making synthetics part organics by adding DNA?
Normandy escaping with entire crew?
That can not be fixed since by themselves are a huge problem.
They have to either completely change it or remove it.
So endings will still suck, just EC will attempt to make us decide will we deal with it and still find there's point of anything with Mass Effect.

And you have to keep in mind they didn't start to make LotSB right after Overlord.
They were making it long before it.
Same for Overlord and Kasumi.

They're working on multiplayer DLC and prioritising it over the EC. Seriously.

I think people are misunderstanding the OP's post he wants them to take their time, the silence is deafening thought.
Although, people on Internet forums dont let slip a single chance to beat OP to death. Most people dont simply read the whole post. Just the title is enuf for them..

1. They have a lot of "cut" material they can work with in order to elaborate on the endings
2. All the scenes they've planned to use as "elaborations" are in the same style as the current endings where they are set to music and no one says anything.
