I personally don't believe in the IT. its a nice concept, but all the "evidence" is the result of people looking for clues where there are none.

You're clearly not very informed on the clues that have been found. And they can only be put down 1 of 2 ways...

Very sloppy writing and time management... OR... IDT.

Gee... wonder how ITers got a bad reputation with an attitude like that...

Why do you guys get angry and try to destroy other's theory about the game. It doesnt hurt or offend you. I dont believe Bioware could write something as complex as IT but if some people like it, I dont go into threads arguing. I let them have their theories and fun, Isnt that what the creators of Mass Effect wanted speculation from everyone.

Just thought I would ask since I see alot of people that HATE IT.

And you just lumped us all together in one big group. Thanks for that.

I don't believe in IT, but I don't go around picking fights or name-calling because of it.

The only time I get seriously offended is when pro-IT people tell me IT is the only thing to believe and start insulting me or others because we don't buy it.

And there are people on both sides who act like their theory is the only one that's correct and treat opposing views as idiotic. If you're going to call out one group of people, then you need to do so to the others as well.

I could have writen that better, I didnt mean all people who dont believe in IT. I dont believe in IT and dont insult IT
believers.

I like the IT... as fanfiction, because is no other thing.

Sometimes the "evidence" is rather funny, like "Hey! It's the same white light, indoctrination!" or "Shepard has blue eyes, like TIM, indoctrination!"

Best part of the "blue eyes" thing is the IM had blue eyes the whole time, I think it was some sort of implant. Or are they assuming he was indoctrinated the whole time, not just at the end when they implanted him.

WRONG. TIM originally got his blue eys from a reaper artifact in the first contact wars.

I see, well then, I guess it's possible he was indoctrinated the whole time. Though he did work to destroy the Collectors, which I'm not sure an indoctrinated person would have done.

IDT is the hope and the dream....very sloppy writing and time management is the dirty grit reality.

You have completly submitted to reaper indoctrination. Have fun justifying making a profound decision for everyone on the subatomic level.....

Also, you've homegenized all the races so a single supervirus can kill us all, also, terminator Krogans that will multiply to max density.

Ah, the common response of your average IT supporter. When incapable of presenting an argument, just claim the other party is indocrinated and then add some baseless extrapolation.

Se, this is the problem. You choose to express your opinion by belittling those of a differing opinion. Many believers do this too. In both cases it's wrong and should stop.

But it is Fan Fiction until it is actually confirmed by Bioware, So he is Right

Noooo... it's an interpretation of the ending. Do you belittle anyone who gives their opinion on what happened at the end of 2001 by calling them silly fanfic writers?

In all seriousness, why act like those that you don't like? Isn't that kinda pointless and counter-productive in the grand scheme of "Lots of Speculations for Everyone." ?

Ah, another refreshing post that has absolutely nothing to do with why most sane people hate IT and the IT Crowd.

So, wanting to study two of our enemy's greatest weapons is a sign of indocrination now?

I just presented my argument that synthesis is an unsusainable pipe dream.

It can't really even exist in the ME dimension due to the energy constraints.

Yeah, he's just a slave to the cycle, every cycle has their own form of Cerberus.

This. An interpretation is not fanfic. If I write a story where Shepard went on a date with Harbinger, that would be fanfiction ( and really stupid). A literary interpretation is not the same as shipping characters and writing alternate realities.

It's really depressing that someone makes a thread politely asking people to stop getting into p*ssing matches and it immediately devolves into a p*ssing match.

Because every cycle has a group that tries to do that and THEY ALWAYS ARE INDOCTRINATED.

The IT is hilarious, I don't hate it at all. It's fun seeing a bunch of self-deluded fanboys think their pulp schlock story done by "writers" who wouldn't get hired to even write trashy soap opera eps actually has that kind of subtlety.

I'm saying there is not enough energy in the galaxy, to power a device that can do that. You're changing everything on the subatomic level, the energy needed to change every atom can't exist because it would require more energy than exists in the galaxy.

Who killed JFK?

Indoctrinated Shepard, obviously. The only way there could be more than one shooter is if the entire thing happened in Shepard's head. When he wakes up in the rubble, JFK will be there helping rebuild humanity.

Yes, and Harbinger did 9/11

Absolutely! If only more people were aware of the clearly obvious clues, they'd know the facts.
