What. Really want an answer to is why they dropped the reaper illusive man boss fight for a 5 minute talk-down from SC. There was no climax. If the banshee/harbinger laser part was the climax of the game i certainly didn't know it. I think many others feel the same way. So if they feel SC is completely worthy of defending, why can't they at least provide a few reasons WHY its worth defending? I figured over time that would come out but it hasnt yet. Why? What harm could a a few paragraphs of, "heres why we liked this for the ending," do?

bioware doesnt want to hear your opinion unless its an opinion you agree with. they know they were wrong on so many levels with mass effect 3 they are in complete denial. i was posted a comment about the ending of mass effect 3 on the official facebook page that was completely civil and simply suggested that people do some research before buying the game and i was promptly blocked and had my comment deleted. i lose more and more respect for what used to be my favorite video game company everyday. chris priestly would be more well received if he wasnt so snarky and rude even more so when his comments that are rude are usually followed by an inability to respond to them because of locking threads or blocking people. bioware needs a serious pr fix.

I can see you clearly thought this out.

Here's the deal.

They won't share until they have more relevant information to share. If you'd been paying attention you'd know quite a bit about what's going to be in the Extended Cut. You would know that they are listening and you and won't discuss anything because people like you have already decided to be unhappy. You cannot assume that they are ignoring you. They are human beings. Yes, they made a mistake, but you cannot counter ignorance with ignorance.

People like you chase them away.

My point exactly. Its insulting for bw to continually ask for our feedback when they juat ignore it anyways. And i want clarification from someone who knows or can provide an accurate breakdown of how and they decided to end the game that way. I didn't think that's entirely unreasonable. Ans if they keep hearing it OVER AND OVER to the point where it gets u blocked then why dont they simply ANSWER and be done with it?

First of all, how do you know they're ignoring it?  They asked for feedback, and the conclusion they got from that feedback was that the majority didn't think the ending needed to be totally scrapped, but that it would be nice to know what the **** happened.

Is that the right conclusion to reach?  Are the truly appealing to the majority of complaints?  I have no idea, but it's what the folks at Bioware are running with.

As for their response; I really don't see how you have any room to gripe about it.  It's been made pretty damn clear over and over that they will not (can not) discuss the ending or take questions about the ending.

That you ignore that, and continue to pester them... uh... what did you THINK would happen?  That they were going to say, "Oh well, you're such a reasonable person, and we'll make a special exception for you and talk ALL about the ending?"

If you stick your hand in a bulldog's cage, then get bit, whether or not the dog should have bitten you is fairly irrelevant.  It's still pretty dumb to do it in the first place.

You know, there's a good reason why they are staying quiet...to make sure they have everything makes sense and is lined up. The last thing they need is to do a Q and A and reveal info that isn't stamped with approval yet and get their lore all tied in a funk.

Some people forget that while content creators are the "creators" they have to do significant research and work to make sure their story is on track. I bet the average Star Wars super-nerd knows canon 100% more than George Lucas does.

There's stress, and then there's being an ****. While I don't agree with the OP's way of doing things, it's statements like that from the creators that makes me want to never buy another Bioware game, ending or otherwise.

Comments like that are only funny when they are on the top half of the first page.

And as far as BioWare sayign the won't talk about the ending, it's pointless to keep communication channels open and then not want to communicate about people's primary concern.

Like how Anakin has no bilogical father? he is the result of Darth Plaugis createing a being of "pure force" in the womb of a slave?

this. almost everyone that i have heard from on the bioware and ea side has been rude and inconsiderate. they are all on this power trip that makes them think they can constantly insult the fanbase and say screw the customer were making money so who cares? let alone the fact that ea's customer service is terrible but they dont care about us anymore. bioware has lost sight of what they used to do because they cant see what quality games look like behind their giant stacks of money. there are alot of other developers and producers that actually care and put out finished games along with quality dlc. why do people still waste their time with these money grubbing has-beens.

K guys its not like i spend all my time on twitter asking the ME creators what went wrong and just troll the hell out of them. My comments to patrick weekes have been absolutely nothing but praise for his story arcs and i know they don't talk about the ending so i havnt said anything about it really for the last month or so. I've been eagerly awaiting any news regarding the end, but it hasnt come.

The tweet i sent to chris priestly today was mostly a joke (but really i DO want to know) in response to the irony i saw in his tweet asking our opinions, when every staff member at bioware knows damn well what people want right now. The guy assumed i was being a dick and just blocked me. I was offended so i posted this. Theres my days story.

Edit***

I also own every BW game including rebuying kotor and baldurs gate just so I have all BW games. I've been a diehard BW fan since i played KOTOR. I just am kinda flabberghasted that one off-hand comment puts me in the "bad fan" catagory. That's a total insult from a company that i've spent over a grand on.

I don't deny that chris been a raging **** lately (look what he did to taboo, twice mind you) but it doesn't change the fact that he's under stress even if he's choosing to act like a total jerkoff because of it.

People like me? You mean people who have purchased every one of BW's games and have played them in and out and waited for midnight releases and po'd collector editions and have spent probably close to a grand on products affiliated with BW games?

Ya, how dare I ask about the creative process that led to a total lackluster ending of my favorite game series.

Get off your high horse buddy you don't know anything i don't already know. I'd rather chase off BW with the chance that enough people who feel the same way might make them put a little bit more effort into making sure there games remain true to the quality we've come to love from BW games than be a complacent and accept everything that the God's at EAware tell me without question.
