Canada. When you buy a product, if it sucks, you can mention the problem to a customer representitive. If that rep can't help you, you usually take it to the manager or higher up till you get some form of compensation. Or have you never had to return anything in your life? Is this at all relevent to the convo here? No. So quit trolling me and if you don't agree with my topic or don't care then leave it at that and GTFO.

So in other words your an entitled consumer who doesn't understand consumer law, great thing to point out.

So I'm an entitled customer for sharing a bad experience I had with a representitive for a company I had a bad experience with? And I'm not allowed to say anything about it, even on the website the company created to host discussion about the companies products? And your a business graduate I take it?

seriously, since when did the deffinition of TROLL turn to someone who disagrees with you? most BSN people think thats the meaning....

anyways, I am also a Canadian Citizen and work for the New Brunswick Government. if you look at both the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Universal decleration of human rights, it no where says buying software you are not satisfied with gives you the right to constantly annoy, insult, a troll the developers of said software

You called them EAware, which is clearly meant as an insult. That being said, Bioware has sucked ass with dealing with their customers lately and I can still sympathize with why you're pissed off, even if you were asking for it. Compared to some of the comments they've dealt with this is mild.

if there's one thing the block feature has done, its made us all more insular and unable to deal with harsh, but fair criticism. Instead of being used in extreme cases of belligerence and abuse of the medium, people use it just to shut up people who's opinions they don't like.

This is as much childish behavior as those that made such functionality necessary. And ultimately only serves to show the blocker as being irrational, reactionary and full of self-righteous crap.
I would expect better from professionals in the marketplace. But then we all did in the past and look where we are now.

I wasn't trying to argue with anybody or for this thread to turn into an ending bash. Or a BioWare bash for that matter. I was mad that a customer rep. blocked me for what I thought was a relatively unnoffensive comment (yes i said EAware but i've read MANY worse things than that) with an underlying serious question that I was hoping to get some insight to,

You are trolling my topic, your turning it into a civil rights discussion when my original intention was just to share what I thought was a pretty rude comment back at somebody (myself) who has been nothing but supportive of BW since KOTOR. I don't sit on twitter and spam send message after message saying how much I hate the ending and I need to know why it sucked so bad. This was the FIRST time i sent a tweet to chris about the ending in any way, aside from "any news on the EC or its release date?" And I only made that comment because I thought it was pretty clever given the situation and I was pretty shocked that he's such a pansy that he cried and blocked me for it.

So don't assume I sit there and troll people all day.

Sounds like something you should bring up with him via PM, you could probably be excused for this thread given your state of mind as long as you don't do crap like this on a regular basis and since the bsn has been ruined anyway threads like these are all too common but really it sounds like this something between you and Chris Priestly nothing to be dragged out into the open.

Mr. Priestly isn't known for his patience from what I have come to understand. Given the current circumstances I wouldn't be surprised if that was at an all time low. Quite a few employees are going on vacation.

I wouldn't talk to Mr. Priestly though. Talk to Jessica Merizan. You probably won't get an answer but you probably won't be blocked so as long as you are polite.

Might be best not to call the EAWare as well. Insulting where they are employed doesn't go over very well in any situation.

Treat them with respect and they do the same.

After reading through the thread, I have to post at least once:

The OPs initial tweet, although definitely passive aggressive, should not have been met with a ban, seeing as how it was tame, relatively speaking.

However, these devs are still shellshocked by the deluge of ending complaints and I imagine are a more than a little trigger happy when it comes to banning people. Is that fair? No.
Did the sarcastic ban comment make the dev sound a little immature? Yes.

The people here seem to think that the incendiary comments you posted here are somehow retroactively making the aforementioned tweet worse.? Which confuses me. OP you have every right to complain about a product, company, or policy; but I'd be a little less vulgar, if only so you aren't banned from the forum permanently.

As for the topic at hand. Yes it's lame that so many months after the release they are still in hiding. But when you have an undefendable position being forced into a full rout is expected

Well said, thank you. For the most part I'm never this offensive online, but I was offended at the time. Really that whole suck a fart out of someones ass is probably the rudest thing I've ever said online and that's just because my buddy said that a couple days ago on CoD and I've been laughing at it in my head since.

"treat them with respect and they will do the same" actually means agree with their opinions or keep you mouth shut unless you want to be banned and insulted. do you honestly think that treating bioware or ea with respect is going to change the way they make their games or adjust ea's shady company practices? its not going to make them care about you because they only care about how much money the games make for them now days. me3 made them alot so it has blinded them. as far as chris goes i doubt he is seeing much of that money being only a moderator and it has to suck getting question's about something he has no control over but that doesnt give him the excuse to block people with a snarky comment to boot just for asking a question that everyone is thinking but is tired of repeating and getting no answer. if chris wants to be angry he should be angry at his employers and the people who corrupted bioware.

Think hard about what you posted and then come back.

If you think the reason the way the ending is the way it is because of EA you should probably just leave now.

Here is a little heads up on being a decent human being 101.  You don't just treat people with respect to get something for yourself out of it, if you can't see that beyond your own selfish whims than you truly don't even have a grasp of the concept of respect in the first place.

You may also know me from my other works, such as advising mastermadskills to not use hold the wallet, but instead to use something a little less butlerlike, he went with withhold the wallet.

I was an officer and offerd a leadership position for that, but i quite after about 3 weeks, becasue no body alters what I typed to fite their rhetoric without my permission, nobody!
