OP im not sure whether to defend you or not. On the one hand, I don't think you deserved such a backlash from Chris. A silent block, maybe, but he probably silently blocked a lot of people and just wanted to lash out once for his life. I'de say its pretty hard keeping your cool when all of this happened. Either way, still shouldn't do this to customers.

On the other hand, what you said WAS sort of agressive. Calling them EAware first off wasn't smart and then you followed it up with one of the biggest sources of ridicule on the forums. Hell, artistic integrity is almost worse than saying space magic. Both are equally annoying.

Hey, BW was the one that brought arristic integrity into the equation. I'm only going off what they gave me. I see your point, but it was meant as a joke cause i thought it was a funny response to his tweet given the situation BW's in and seems to be denying completely.

Joking or not, was still kinda rude given the situation. While they did bring in artistic intregrity, they weren't making fun of themselves. I mean its like if someone took something you said once, then called you out for it everytime you did anything ever. Kind of annoying, but yeah, shouldn't have gotten a sarcastic response like that. OP. For what it's worth, you are being honest (as far as I can tell) and that's commendable. You've admitted what you know was wrong with your approach, while at the same time pointing out your frustration. Not really understanding all the vitriol in this thread.

I'm chuckling that EAware is considered an insult. Perhaps smarmy, but not ill tempered.

You claim your intention wasn't to troll-tweet, but absolutely nothing that you said was a rational or reasonable request. Saying "You're an idiot but I don't mean that as an insult" is still an insult.

2. This is a forum--it's about discussion. I have the right to call you out on how you behave here--it's just as much my community as it is yours. And it's not just you. So many people act like jackasses to the devs on Twitter and through other means and expect the rest of us to hail them as heroes for it. It just makes you look like a child.

3. The parody-naturalist narration was employed because presenting the core tenets of someone's argument to them in an unorthodox fashion can often help them to see the underlying problems with what they're saying.

Bioware is in a sticky situation right now. Multiplayer will only suffice for so long as it doesn't have much depth to it. Soon as people have unlocked all the guns and spent time grinding for hours on end, they will give it up as a bad job.

So if Bioware do not fix the ending, people won't play SP run-throughs anymore and therefor will have no interest in EMS and will stop playing the game altogether. That and the bad reputation of betraying the fans means no one will buy from Bioware/EA again. I say they betrayed the fans because 1) the ending was utter trash and 2) They said our choices would matter.

However, if they do a u-turn and go with indoctrination theory then they may be able to redeem themselves. EC could very easily mean that if you chose the Red Destroy ending your mind is saved and Indoctrination wears off. You wake up in the rubble and find that Shep has been halucinating ever since Harbinger hit him with the beam. One of your squadmates drags u out to safety and applies medigel. You get patched up and back in the fight then the REAL ending can take place.

1: Your arent me. You don't know my intentions better than i do. You don't know my sense of humor or how i commune with people i respect. I have praised chris priestly many times and in this case i was absolutely not attacking him. Maybe EA, depending on ur perspective. I did not see that tweet i made was a direct insult to him, though, and given he says he's "evil" i thought maybe he'd get a good laugh. I wasnt being overly rude and his response to a fan whos invested a lot of money into his company was a lot more disrespectful than my tweet.

2) I came here to vent, not looking for "praise" in any way shape or form.

3)well it's stupid and it makes you come off as some total brainiac who spends more time coming up with "intelligent quips" on an online game forum than he does sleep.

As i said, you guys can insult me all you want thinking im being stupid but my opinions, words, and threads are no less valid or important than anyone elses ive seen on these forums. So insulting me wont get u the reaction ur hoping for. You just look more and more stupid to me with every post.

So I guess it just goes as a lesson to others, when devs tweet something keep your replies on topic. For instance, saying something like, "The forums so we can get some answers about the endings" would have probably not have gotten you blocked as oppsoed to not saying any location at all and simply saying how much the endings suck and contridict the rest of the game.

You got to be subtle about this and not go charging in like a vanguard.

No, your trying to make yourself look mature by calling me immature and saying im throwing a temper tantrum with this thread when in reality all im doing is sharing something that happened to me today with people who may or may not care or have maybe been having similar experiences an want to vent here as well. You clearly don't care and your not adding anything to the convo other than insulting me, (aka trolling) And as i've stated ur opinions dont affect me or how i feel about this matter. 1. Misuse of the word "commune" to make yourself sound smarter. Plus, your words, both in your tweet and this thread, indicate that you don't respect Mr. Priestly at all.You were being rude and half-assedly trying to cover it up by saying that you're not being rude--that's just ignorant. I don't care how you think you're communicating with people. If you say things that are directly offensive to people, you were being offensive. You're in denial if you think you weren't being insulting. "LOL JK" is something that twelve year olds say on the Internet; it's not a valid excuse for your actions by any reasonable standard.

2. When you come to vent about "sticking it to the man," you are de facto asking for praise and/or validation of your actions from your peers.

3. You're trying to debunk my argument by calling me intelligent. Thanks. Also, someone who spends their time insulting people that they don't even know on Twitter accusing someone else on the Internet of not having a life is hilarious. But, seeing as you have some special "sense of humor" you may not realize this.

4. Pointing out that your whining about how the thread was going to be locked has still not come true.

You said something that was insulting to someone on Twitter, and they blocked you, and you're calling them a hypocrite for it. Mr. Priestly was in his rights to do so and cannot be impugned in this matter. Only you are at fault--for making this an issue in your own mind. Lose the prima donna complex.

I'm not looking for a reaction, I'm giving you valid advice; if you continue to act this way on the Internet while remaining convinced that you are in the right despite all evidence to the contrary, it's going to have serious repercussions on your actual life. You just can't treat people that way.

Are you really surprised you got banned when you went and did exactly what they said would get you banned?

thats like stating "all of these Toyota ppl have been very open about their refusal discussing the recent issues with their cars, customers and the press were previously reporting".

are you really surprised fans expecting the promised features (countless endings, choices that matter) would come back wishing to discuss it ? its not talking to a guy in private but a customer/company relation. 

(im in the industry but just my personal 0.02$)

They can't say anything, it's as simple as that, they didn't make the game they just represent bioware, as much as I'd like to know too I can't blame them for not being able to discuss the ending. I believe the series is the best I've ever played, the ending most certainly did blow chunks though.
