Would it not make sense to have ME1 DLC available on this site ?

Call me crazy, but.... to me it would make a whole lotta sense to have ME1 PC's DLC available through this very website (and patches). All the faffing around people have to do at the moment to get things like BDTS etc working seems silly. Slap some DRM free DLC up on here for registered ME1 owners and make things easier for your customers :) What say you ?Image IPB

You're right, that would be great. I'd love to register my ME1 to the forums again, but DLC like BDtS is about 4 years old so I almost certainly doubt we'll see any support integrated intro the BSN site.

Or when it's free DLC for an old title why not just add it to new downloads?  It's not like anything new's being done with ME2 and the Cerberus Network these days, let alone ME1. So why does it need to take about twice as long to locate, download and activate free DLC for the first game as it does to buy and download the game in the first place?

I just think, with the 3 games all tied together with a character you can take throughout them, it would make sense for any DLC and such for to be all available in the 1 place. And with ME1's age, stick it on here for registered ME1 owners DRM free (or however ME2's dlc is protected).

Of course it would make sense. Any alternative to what EA is doing would make more sense ;)

One would seriously think that with ME3 being the cap to the trilogy -- a trilogy that began with a game largely known for it's replay value, as well as it's importance to the succeeding games -- EA would pay a little more attention to ME1 and it's DLC. The BDtS access was broken for almost 2 years before they (kinda) fixed it.
