I would just cover my ears and say,

"Cant hear you, lalalalalalala"

Then just pull off some Biotic **** and sacrifice myself by crashing the crucible into the Citadel.

THAT is how the ending is supposed to be if your a biotic.

I'd tell him to go back to school.

Mischevious little brat, harvesting entire worlds and dooming organic life as we know it, when he should be in the classroom studying maths......

I actually believe the catalyst. The concept of technological singularity is logical. Maybe the AIs won't kill organics any time soon, but it's only a matter of time. Reaper harvesting is a logical solution, but it's the kind of solution that only a machine would come to. It ignores the fundamental value of individual life, the idea of an ongoing atrocity not being better than one big atrocity. It's like... burning someone's skin off periodically to prevent the skin from growing so fast it covers your face, strangling you. It's overkill, a brute force solution to the problem. This is why I think synthesis has the potential to do so much for civilization, eliminating the limitations on organic life.

id walk up to the synthesis edge and fake jumping off, until i died of having a fakeout attack.

maybe id try to hav sex with something. i mean really if im about to die, im prolly gonna want to have sex. i wonder if i could ask him to transform into other things like maybe a chick. or a yahg. even if i wanted to do it on my own i cant have starkid just standing their. not like it wasnt awkward enough situation.

or unless starkid could create whatever he wants(and i think its safe to assume starkid can do whatever he wants, seems logical to me) so what if he just made a bunch of nachos and i kept stealing them. like a never unding supply of nachos. the star child wont even know what hit him. HEY WHERE MY NACHOS?

another possible idea i have involves pigeons and a 10 foot extension cord. but i really shouldnt get into that here.

Just for fun, let's assume there is no dialogue wheel. No dialogue wheel, no Bioware, no Artistic Integrity, none of it. Let's also assume that each one of us is our Shepard. How would you respond to the Catalyst and his...erm...ahem "logic"?

"Solution...? Didn't I hear that before, with a 'Final' attached?"

Seriously, I was wondering that the first time when I had Shepard limp toward the green light - on the grounds that it claimed red would do what it did as a side-effect, did not even think of a certain character there. Course, my opinion on the trustworthiness of that thing is somewhat reformed now.

Being actually able to challenge the thing, I'd expand on the above statement the following way:

"As for your so-called 'problem', you do prove your point by acting as the very things you claim to be trying to 'stop'. And I've seen your 'preservation', so do not tell me anything about being benevolent databanks of our memory. I'd rather become dust again, as will you." *proceeds to shoot the tube from across the room, instead of walking toward it for a flashier way of committing suicide*

Same. Though I prefer to risk the tech singularity and blow the reapers.

I know you said no dialogue wheel, but if there was, this is how it should be:

I would accept "his" omnipotent, infallible logic as he is the closest thing to God in the universe.

The first thing I would ask him about is how he could ignore the Geth and Quarians fighting together to kick out Reapers right outside, and tell me that organic and synthetics are doom to destroy each other.

They worked together before. Temporary peace proves nothing about the future.

Huh?

When did the Geth and Quarians work together before?

You get invidiuals working together sure. But A. It's only a few of them and B. They weren't the majority.

When the Quarians created them. It's irrelevant as temporary peace proves nothing.

...when the Quarians first created them they weren't on the same level of intelligence they are. Once they started showing signs of intelligence the Quarians started freaking out and attacking after that they had a hostile neutrality.

If you're going to try to make a point at least don't suck at it.

You realize you just proved the Catalyst's point, right? Besides, the Catalyst is right because Bioware says.

Deal with it.
