Has anyone ever got this achievement even using the Warrior? All I hear, are people getting it when they use Rogue or Magi.

No areas you have to visit is excludes the warrior or include any origin locations.

Just play the game and do just about everything and you should get the achievement easily.

Those .xls are super helpful for people like me who dont own Microsoft Office. :D

I'm kinda confused why so many people assume you have Microsoft Office if you have a PC.

Maybe I should start sending around .odt's and complain if people havent installed Open Office.;)

While it would have been nice to see Bioware support Open source and use the Open Officer formats, OO has no trouble at all opening the souce .xls files (and can even save them as long as you make sure to tell it not to change the format). I've made several mini-rules mods just using OO to edit files and the game has no trouble with the converted versions.

Curious...I've been to all those places on multiple play-throughs and still haven't gotten it. May just be borked for some people.

The pesky thing is that I have been in ALL of those areas and still did not get the achievement. I at first assumed that there is some specific map where I haven't been in and that's why I don't get it but later I realized that I have been on every possible map (excluding some random encounters) and still no achievement. Now that I saw this list - thanks for this btw - I KNOW that I've been in all of those areas and still, nothing. I don't know if there is some "100% side quests" achievement or no, after several run throughs I think I have also completed all of the side quests but still have only the 75% one. Beats me what's still missing, why I'm not getting that achievement...

There is no 100% sidequests (at least not in the source files). The 3 'done it all' achivements are:
75% sidequests
100% exploration
Experience all possible endings

... this may help, I don't know for sure, but I noticed the achievement come up after Wynne's approval was around 75% and was traveling with her from Denerim to Haven, and got a random encounter where she uses the Spirit.

Speaking of issues with achievements, I cannot get the 25 traps to save my life. I've laid over 100 traps and nothing.

Odd. I laid out 25 traps in camp and got the achievement. (Then they were gone during the attack and returned afterward. DOH!)

I got the traps achievement using glyphs.

Last play-through, I double checked and made absolutely sure I went through all of the areas that are posted above and still didn't get the Traveler one.

Hmmm well I went to all those places on my first playthrough and the trophy did not unlock for me. Seems to be quite a few achievement bugs in this game since this has not been my first one so far. The recruiter trophy unlocked when Morrigan left my party when I declined her ritual.

The achievement is definitely not linked to obtaining the Warden's Cache, as I got it on my first playthrough and never looted that. The Warden's Cache just refers to the unnamed warehouse in the market district.  If you did the body bags or the Slim Couldry quests you'll have gone here.

The ones that are easiest to miss:

Tavern in Redcliffe, since it's up on the hill and you have to take that little path.

Tavern in Lothering, since once you leave Lothering the town burns down.

Second shop in Orzammar, since it's locked the first several times you pass it.

You also don't have quests in any of these locations, whereas I think just about every other spot you'd have visited while questing.

You'll notice nearly all of these locations are semi-optional in that you could skip them all (except maybe the Proving) without derailing your game. To finish the game you'd have gone everywhere else, so that's why these random locations make the achievement.

Well I finally got the trophy. It looks like I was missing Figor's Imports and the Quaint Hovel in the Dirty Back Alley.

I wonder if this is Bioware and EA's way of getting people to play through their games multiple times. "Hey let's put in broken achievements/trophies, and make them play through the game multiple times" Thanks Bioware/EA for wasting 153hr 12mins 10sec of my life with three play through s not including the fourth I'm starting. I think I'm starting to officially hate this game because of this achievement.

Think before you post. Bioware and EA would gain what, exactly, from people playing through the game multiple times? And the kicker is that the achievement works fine!

Too often people blame bugs/glitches when really, they should be blaming own assuredness. That's not to say there aren't any achievement related bugs, but I don't think the Traveler is one of them.

The Microsoft Exel Viewer is free and easy as well if you just want to look at them.

Alternatively, the Toolset can directly edit the .gda's too though it's more cumbersome than .xls editing.

Well so far no one has been able to come up with a idea for this achievement that proves to work system wide. So I would assume something is off, we shouldn't hear that people are unlocking this achievement anywhere between 75%-100% world explored. That would assume something is either off with the achievement design or the game. Also a lot of games get rated on there playback feature. Some people won't buy a game that you play once and then get nothing out of it after that. Remeber this is my opinion alone, and I think there's something off.

Something must be off. I have been in every place mentioned here at least twice, I have 98% of the world explored and no achievement. I cant imagine there is some place I havent set my foot in after 9 full games, especially since I was paying attention in my 8th playthrough to do all possible quests that can take me to some building/room, including the rogue quests.

I just want to say that in my second playthrough i went everywhere that was available. I made a point of it so I could get the achievement, but never did, I finished the game at 97%, but no unlock. My third playthrough I didn't care. Didn't do nearly as many sidequests, didn't try to go anywhere specific, and got the unlock at 93% explored. So I have no idea how it works.

Want to say thank you to fantasypisces, for posting this. It's more proof that this achievement is a little off and Bioware and EA really need to take the time to address this achievement. I'm not looking for a detailed instructions on how to do it but clarifying it's mechanics or maybe explaining what the achievement actually requires would be helpful.

I got it on my first play through. Dalish Warrior on the PC. I missed a few quests and certain mobs (including the high dragon as I thought it was the Archdemon and it had left after I got the Urn. I know, I know, read the codex better :P)

I don't recall getting Duncan's Shield, but I might have and just not noticed while on a looting rampage.
