All the good stuff from DAO but better in DAO 2.

DA2 has come and gone. It wasn't particularly successful.

DA2 came out, was a good game but nowhere near the quality of DA:O - it was rushed, and it showed. The combat was a bit too much over-the-top (enemies exploding to dagger strikes), and the recycling of area-maps was really visible - and the game events almost completely occurred within the same city and it's immideate vicinity. They are working on DA3, which we can only hope will not be as rushed as DA2.

If DA2 has a blond mage carryover from Awakening and makes him go crazy, I doubt that go over very well. If they colour code lyrium, that probably wouldn't go over well either. Likewise elves without shoes or Qunari camped in the middle of a city.
What DA2 really needs is halla as playable characters, a fully functional toolset and snoggable LI's at the player's whim.
I sure hope Bioware delivers.

I think that would be a wise reboot to the series if the problems with the second one are as bad as everyone says. Dragon Age ORIGINS 2. Just pretend Dragon Age 2 never happened.

Won't work, although it would be sweet if it could.

Yeah, it would be just awful if they did that! The game would be great as long as they don't write off most of our choices from the previous game, remove race selection and character origins for a single voiced protagonist, or place us in a single city for the entire game. But the worst would be if they had enemies constanlty jumping from the rooftops during every single fight. That would be just horrible!
I mean as long as stuff like that isn't implemented, then I'm sure Dragon Age 2 will be fine.
