 My PnP conversion is based on the 3.5 version of the Tomb of Horrors (S1) - so some of the creatures are different than the original 1Ed version.

For those willingto give it a try: Please feel free to post issues/bugs.

He he - I couldnt resist using OC appearances for the companions - Eve (shandra) I thought would make a good cleric.

The rouge has Neeshka's soundset but custom appearance (stock TS)

And one of the other females - I think the Favoured Soul - has Kailyn the Dove's soundset

Claudius the Paladin is mundanely using Casvir's appearance and soundset

Oh ya the Captain of the Common Valor is Bevil - lol

well you get the point.

I can select 4 companions, not sure if that's a bug. The paladin has 0 xp. The cleric has the good old bug with the Air and Animal domains. The favored soul lacks the "Skilled" feat, but gains it as soon as she levels up.

Some of the custom spells lack a description and/or a name. "Shatter" is listed as wizard/sorc only, but other classes (cleric/FS and bards at least) can cast it as well.

Also, I have no gold, so no chance for shopping at the start. Am I supposed to steal the equipment from non-used companions?

My beloved Rod of Preparation doesn't seem to work in this module, it'd be nice if it could be made compatible.

Thanks Ark - I guess that is why we have a beta phase...

Which spells are you referring to - should only be 4 of them - I might have mixed up my Spells.2da's...

4 companions is intentional - but the Paladin was added last minute - easy fix that.

Ya no gold - also an easy fix - spent most of my own testing with a geared - PC.. oops

Isnt the Rod of Prep just an override? Anyway it isnt really a combat module anyway - there are really just a few fights and they are all designed to catch the party off guard so to speak - didnt have one of those back in PnP days...

Ya Shatter being usable by all casters - probably a 2da mixup

What is the Domain bug - I never really played with a cleric very often? (usually FS)

i played for a few hours last night. Ended up in a pit and finally realized, oh so that's where those random corpses come from .....

great stuff, I think you've got the essence of the original ToH in there,

Thanks KevL - your feedback is welcome - bugs dont bug me, neither does fixing them - been feeling a bit bored since thinking I was done - I actually started building this quite a while ago and since then I have learned a lot - should have self tested a bit more, but I was anxious to get it out there.

If you get past that pit - the stuff that follows is (hopefully) less buggy.

The spells are Demi Lich Soul Suck (lacks a description) and a level 4 one for clerics (lacks name, description, and icon).

I've played a bit more and doesn't look heavy on combat indeed, so the RoP may not be that much of an issue. I've found a bug more or two, but I have to go now, I'll tell you about it, and explain the domain bug, later on.

Lolz - the Demi Lich Soul Suck is Acererack's main attack - it is not supposed to be available to the player - so funny

The other one is from that 2da issue I mentioned - another project that is much much bigger in scope has a quite a few custom spells and that would be an early edit of the 2da for that upcoming Module

The gargoyle statue puzzle can be repeated over and over, gaining a gem each time.

Domain bug: In some modules, cleric companions (I don't think it can happen on a cleric PC) get spells from Air and Animal domains (it can be checked in the first tag of the character sheet), regardless of the ones they've really taken. No animal companion or Uncanny Dodge, just the spells.

Air and Animal are the first ones alphabetically, so maybe the issue goes along those lines. I don't know if there's a fix for it, other module builders may know, it's a pretty common bug.

Depending on how much of a spoiler the bug represents I guess if it seems to be a big one PM otherwise here - the vault for things relative to the listing but I dont imagine that is too much of an issue for most ppl

Game breaker- The transition from hallway 10 to area 14 is wonky. Seems like a problem with the destination door. can't continue.

whoops, beta 2.0 has the wrong starting point. It's in the throne room area, near 32a.
And the door to area 33, the conversation lets you use the key even if you don't have it.
I like your load hints.

Honestly, I rushed the release - I suppose those that have tested so far could testify to that...

But I think I will get a more testable .mod out in the next couple of days.
