Does anyone know if this works for PS3?inert14 wrote...
On Xbox. I plug my mic in and leave it off just so whatever everyone else says doesn't pour through my television. I'll turn it on to communicate with better players, I'll take it off my head to ignore idiots.
I really would like to be able to mute the mics, but PS3 doesn't give you that option. Maybe this is a workaround?
I do this. Can't remember if it does it by default, but if not going into the Accessory Settings on the XMB should let you channel the voice through the headset to leave on the floor and the regular sound through the tv.
A godsend

He then later when we had one of those "disable the indoctrination devices" waves ran to the first one (even though we had an infiltrator on the team who could cloak and do them without being seen) and yelled "COVER ME I'M THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE GAME".
I was just like "er...you know we have someone who can CLOAK, right?"

I think that's the sound of the Graal when it charges up, or some other chargable weapon.xelf207 wrote...
Today I experienced something more annoying than the broken Reave sound. I have no clue what it came from; it was this repetitive and rapid clicking sound and it lasted a couple minutes. Like a playing card in bicycle spokes. Ugh, horrible.
edit- And boy am I glad I chose to get the game for PC. No one ever talks or leaves their mic on. (Though, whenever I turn on a podcast or listen to music while I play, I end up getting matched up with people that actually talk.)

If there's something I hate with the multiplayer, it's all the pseudo-intellectual backseat drivers.

This happens when someone dies when firing an N7 Hurricane.
If they get revived and fire it again, it usually stops it.

You can mute voice chat?
Oh praise be to the heavens for I have suffered some fools.
Yeah, I have the Sony wireless headset. Its got a slider on the left side that lets you set bias for in game sounds vs voice. Slide it all the way to in game sounds, zero voice. Unfortunately its all or nothing, mute everyone or no one.

This "ghetto" guy who kept on saying n***a. Then some other guy plugs in a mic and joins him. Then the guy says something the other guy didn't like, so they start an Xbox live gang war. The guy threatens to find the other guy and shoot him. I point out that they obviously can't be in that tough of a neighborhood if they can afford an Xbox, internet, a newish game and Xbox live. Then they both start yelling about how "real" they are and how I'm "lucky" I didn't say it to their face. They didn't take to kindly to me laughing at them as they were explaining this. We ended up wiping out on Wave 6, by that time they were back to yelling at each other. I decided to leave.
I always love the gang wars. I remember playing COD a few years ago and I was almost in tears at all of the bickering. It was two black guys and a white kid talking back to them. Went on for several matches, it was ****ing hysterical.
I guess I've been lucky on ME3. Only thing I've gottten is a couple people who thought they were experts and tried to order everyone around.

As vanguard "Alright guys, remember to stick together." *charges group, gets swarmed, and dies on the other side of the map* forgot to add, at least he said "my bad" after ???
Using another character "This character is really good. He does lots of DPS." *dies a lot*
From me: Sorry everyone, my ammo won't restock at all, I can't use any missiles, and I can't revive.

I usually just hear users who think they know everything and anything about ME3 giving bad advice to new users. I.E. Someone was talking about this weeks event saying too get Commendation you needed to kill 3 million Banshees, and that it had to be done on gold. I don't know people giving mis-information just bugs me.
Also people who play music over their mics and don't talk...at all. Me and my friend were having a conversation and I couldn't even hear her over his static with a poor mix of rap. We immediately had him kicked after the match.
Oh god I hate that, I was playing a match last week where this little kid would shout to his mum, shout loudly when he bleed out and then put on some bad music the rest of us had to endure for the rest of that match. I'm just thankful he was mostly quiet up until wave 7 at least but after that my teeth were very fast becoming ground down and a large vein was starting to protrude from my forehead...
In general kids with microphones are the most painful things to have to listen to, that and people who have their mics set to be so sensitive you hear their tvs every time there's a sound-effect.
