Once had a kid who got in to a nasty argument with his mother for about 10 minutes in the lobby. It got pretty personal. There was no way I was leaving that room, because it was too entertaining.

Another time there were these two clueless high schoolers who thought they knew everything about how the United States should be run. They were saying how high school shouldn't be necessary because they hate high school.

I imagine this has been mentioned already but the most annoying mic experiences ive had are when someone who had it on (for no reason. No speaking At all) and they had a smoke detector nearby that needed a battery replaced. It was especially annoying since my own had just recently gone This has happened twice now I just don't understand why anyone would go out of their way to plug in their mic, with an annoying smoke detector beep going off, refusing to replace it, and say absolutely nothing !

Geth, giant. This guy with a european accent keeps calling out my name saying "you are not good" in wave one. I have no idea if there's a language barrier and I'm not sure what he's trying to convey exactly, or maybe it was his way of insulting me. I ended up leaving at the end of the wave, consumables be damned.  In retrospect that's one of the nicest insults I've ever heard from a gaming community if it was intended to be one, but the situation still confuses me.  

Just assume he was trying to say "you're badass" but google translate broke

Did a gold match with a guy playing a Geth Engineer, and by wave 6 it was apparent that he was.....impared in some way. He wasn't drunk, he was clearly born with it......

Anyway, every time he spoke all I could hear in my head was "Hodor". Every word he said was "Hodor". I about peed myself laughing, and I'm a horrible person for it, but that's just what his voice sounded like.

My friend and I scored 130k and 112k, and he scored just shy of 20k.

Yet I find that many many people say very racial comments, like in a rap gangster way. Directed towards me. Like whats up (racial slur here). I inform them of how I am white. It doesnt stop.
Seriously, you think you need to come on xbox live and swear constantly and use racial slurs?
Some people need to grow up. I'm in my 20's I dont talk like that. I dont swear constantly. there just isn't any need for it.

Was playing with a couple of guys with British accents. After letting them know that I am on 24/7 baby duty and might duck into a corner and go dark for a few minutes at some point during the game, or leave entirely (daddy's gotta do what daddy's gotta do), some idiot joins, hears these perfectly normal gentlemen's way of speaking, and proceeds to spout off all of the British stereotypes he can think of. I can deal with idiots, but people who make fun of the way other people talk, I cannot abide.

Thank god kids and general morons tend to avoid the PC version of the game. I can count on one hand the number of people that actually used the mic on the PC. That includes Gold missions.

At least G Bush did stuff like start a war, I mean it was a stupid decision but at least it was a decision"...blah blah..."I don't want this country to turn into an idiot country like Canada"...blah blah more insulting stuff.

This is specifically the reason I don't plug in my mic, so I don't have to talk to ****heads like this. I didn't bother to answer his stupid question, and I was angry as **** when he insulted my country. Managed to brave it out and quit after the match.
