You know the extended ends just going to be star brat explaining more and some pointless new colour explosion. This has taken time away from planned dlc which was clearly going to be omega. I wanna go Funky dancing and pull me some asari

if thats all EC will be then why is it taking 5 months to create?

seriously current situation of ME series ... I totally lost interest not willing to waste any more money behind this franchise delivering such stupid conclusion and playing the multiplayer ... at this very moment I managed to hit mass relay fly all the way up the sky beyond ... wow this called rush & sloppy development ... no matter what happens I am not forgiving bioware ... damage has been done ... all we can do say good bye and really move on ... its worth it

i have learned that whatever the devs say ends up being the complete opposite

i mean how does it make sence that they say its only a few new scenes and yet you have basicly the squad confirm on both facebook and twitter there back recording lines?

imo i think there honestly replacing the current ending and erasing it and going to give everyone a new one either from scratch or something they maybe had on the table but was cut

i mean shoot the from ashes dlc was revealed last year and they denied same with multiplayer and who knows what else?

im not going to say they lie but i can see why they would try to throw fans off track because they may just want to suprise us

MY POST CONTAINS SPOILERS

I don't need a DLC to know how Omega falls back to the hands of Aria.

SPOILER

Cerberus is defeated during the main story line so the entire organisation falls apart so Aria can march in without any military effort.

By the way Omega is hit by two exploding relays so it doesn't matter anyway.

I wouldn’t play an Omega DLC without getting a remotely satisfying ending so, you know, meh.

Not going to happen as it stands i will NEVER spend another penny on bioware again unless the ending is fixed, which at this point is slim to mostly none. Ea games of any other branch will be rented so they dont get ANY money.

I am no anti-ender by any means, but the EC is necessary, hate it or love it the ending was definitely rushed and needed to be expanded upon, so, unless that is fixed I doubt many people will buy more content.

The ending ruined the series again. Not intrested in any dlc besides EC if it fixes ending.

Seriously I'll make it simple

You have been served a turd for dinner.
There is no refund

you have the following options
leave
send the turd back and wait for it to come back reheated
accept its a turd and get the chef to make a tasty desert

you have chosen the 2nd option.

Here's what happens if I was served a turd in a restuarant, not only would I demand a refund for being served feces, I would press charges against the restuarant for such an act. I would ensure that they are shut down for health code violations. Your analogy is god awful.

Can anyone be this stupid?

Well...even with an apropiate and worthy ending to Shepards story I wouldn't actually care for this Omega DLC...

Never liked that place in ME2, never liked Aria and her annoying attitude...so why should I take that crappy space station back? I'd rather blow it apart to make the galaxy a slightly nicer place, and Aria I'd like to throw out of the nearest airlock, saying goodbye like "And here is my rule, Ms. Blue-Butt! You fock with Shepard, you breath vaccum!"

They should rather take all the ressources planned for "Omega" and use them to give us a real expanded ending with hours of additional gameplay: "Retake Earth Extended" + "Final Mission: Stop Harbinger and fire the crucible"

Tough luck bro
I won't buy anything if extended cut is not satisfactory.
....Unless Omega DLC gives me an option to f*ck with Aria.
Then I might consider it

Things I wanted from ME3:

1. A better ending and/or more impact from my previous choices
2. More and better side-stories on non-hub planets
3. More of the Citadel wards
4. Palaven and Thessia hubs
5. More enemy factions or types
...
...
...
...
75. Retaking Omega for Aria T'Loak. Ugh, who cares about Queen Aria and her hive of scum and villainy...

omega dlc would be pointless, because it is pointless within the plot

That could've been the case, but EDI, Garrus and the VS are confirmed appearances in the EC according to their voice actors' twitter accounts.
What is the point of playing pre-ending DLC if you know how bad it's going to end?

Cos EC means relays arent destroyed oh wait....

Seriously who cares the ends dumb I got over it. I played some multiplayer and I enjoyed it. I have no interest in the extended maintains artist integ ending. I'd rather have a nice side story.

They are claiming that the EC will explain that the Relays didn't "blow up" (therby destroying the entire dang galaxy), but instead overloaded. So they are still broken. Since Aria said she wouldn't be taking back Omega until after the war is over...she now has no way to get there...assuming she isn't one of the hundreds upon hundreds of corpses littering the Citadel the last time you were there. Folks have the reverse engineer a buncha Reaper tech before that kinda travel will be possible again...but they'll be a bit too busy with base survival for a while first.

So yeah, with the current ending, a Retake Omega DLC is kinda pointless.

Exactly.

You can claim its the journey and not the destination, but if the journey is going to lead me to the same crap everytime - I won't want to do the journey again.

DLC rarely makes any difference in the end of a game anyway, it's more about providing new content for people to access on subsequent playthroughs of the game. People who like the game as is and are playing through again multiple times deserve just as much as those unhappy with the ending. Would there be more sales if everyone was happy, sure, but even so they'd still get more sales than you realize if they were putting out those DLC now. They should be working to put out both EC and regular DLC at the same time. That way nobody is left out.

Who cares about Omega? Or Aria? The only thing she needs in ME3 is my boot on her throat to remind her who's boss. Her space station means nothing to me.

Most of all, until ME3 has a satisfying conclusion, what's the point of playing any new intermediate missions, centered on Aria (Omega DLC) or any other characters? I personally have no motivation for that. But hey, I'm just one customer.

Make that two.;)

Um....why is retaking Omega so important? Because, y'know, there are entire planets out there burning and i'm supposed to care about the sleaziest space station ever conceived?

A mission, on Dekunna, with Elcor living tanks, FAR surpasses Omega on the meter of awesome.

Nice idea, would be sweet to play through that type of mission.
