Bioware is taking a step forwards with the EC, so lets give them time to finish it properly.

I don't even want to retake Omega. You would just fight more Cerberus troops which isn't really something new in ME3, I'm honestly pretty fed up with those guys by now.

Not really, they are basically mutant zombie Protheans, which isn't that big of a difference compared to the mutant zombie humans, mutant zombie asari or mutant zombie turians the Reapers have to offer. ME3 desperately needs more enemy variety, not reusing the old enemy types from the previous games. I was already sick of the Geth by the end of ME1 and was really thrilled that besides Tali's loyalty boredom they didn't really appear in ME2.IsaacShep wrote...

If I want to shoot at dead things in space I play Dead Space, Doom or Prey if I'm feeling retarded. I want some actually living things to shoot at, the galaxy is at war damnit and every conflict gets resolved by shooting at the Galactic Cerberus Empire.

Any DLC is useless unless the ending is fixed. Why? Because if it isn't, then what's the f'king point of retaking Omega if it's cut off FROM EVERYTHING ELSE for 10,000 years? There is no point. Hell, there's no point in curing the genophage or doing 90% of ME3 as is because the end says "Yeah, that's nice and all, but LOL! We're resetting the galaxy to a restore point, one made before the mass relays were made. Aha!"
Yeah... why would I waste time and money with retake OMEGA with the current ending the way it is?
Unless Retake OMEGA DLC in some way changes the ending or opens up additional ending options I don't see why I would buy it.

You may not have liked my choice of words but was their anything not true about that statement?
You want to stay positive about all this, so why make negative comments aimed at retakers and others who hate the endings? It makes things worse. No, I didn't like the choice of words, but it should have some effect like that. Some have already given up and/or left. If I like what I see from the EC, I'll be a good little customer and buy all the SP DLC they want me to. It all comes down to the stories I like. BioWare's past games have had endings I really enjoyed, which made ME3's all the more baffling to me.
Well maybe I havn't been the nicest guy in the world recently but after two months of people constantly trashing the whole game I am getting sick of it myself. Sure maybe I should be more choosey with my words but I have run out of patience.
Maybe you should take your own advice that you're such a big advocate of: ignore them. Or better yet just stop coming to the forums if it bothers you that much. Would be easier wouldn't it?

This. In a perfect world, with a perfect ending in place, and while I desperately want to fight alongside Aria... I'd really rather not have to pay for more Cerberus Horde mode

Don't you have a thread to hijack with ending talk even though the thread wasn't supposed to be about the ending?

Not at the moment, no. All threads are either too boring to bother or adequately off their original course.
Anything else?

How does that relate to ME3 when there's nothing left, NO Relays, Your allies are lounging around on some planet, god knows where, with the Normandy in ruins?
