How do you enchant a weapon with a rune? Can only a certain member of the party do it?
Crafting skills... how does herbalism work? We have been running out of all the potions that the stores have for sale. We need to make our own.
Can I add poison to a weapon? (how?)

1) You need someone that can do enchanting - you'll come across that somebody soon enough, pretty early in the game. You also need a weapon or armor that can take enchantments (a weapon/armor that has empty enchantment slots). You tend to come across those kinds of weapon and armor every now and then, more often as you progress in the game.
2) If you've got the herbalism skill, there appears an icon for it (a leaf icon) on the quick bar on the bottom of your screen. (Notice, by the way, that you can extend your quick bar's length by clicking and dragging from the right edge of it - I always extend it right away to maximum.) Once you klick the leaf icon, you can see the recipies for potions that you have, which list which incredients each recipie requires. If you've got the incredients, clicking on the recipie will make a potion.
You can buy more recipies for different potions at various stores, and some recipies require more ranks in the herbalism skill to use.
Making poisons works similarly - it's a skull icon that appears on your quick bar if you get ranks in the poison making skill. To use poisons, you have to have at least one rank in the poison making skill - just right clicking on a poison in the inventory, and selecting "use" will apply it to the weapon you are now weilding (I think this applies only to melee weapons). Or alternatively, you can drag the poison from your inventory to your quick bar, after which you can click on it in your quickbar, and if the character you have selected has the ability to use poisons, they'll use that poison on the weapon they wield.
