It is impossible to reset javik's powers in the med bay currently on all versions of the game. All other companion powers may be reset. Does anyone know if there will be a patch in the future so we can reset Javik's powers ?

I got a reply from bioware about this that said "Unfortunately it is not possible to reset Javik's powers because he is a Prothean and Protheans are supposed to have disapeared at the tame of Mass effect 3. Because of this, their biological structure is not known".
So it looks like they're saying that this is by design and not a "bug" and is definately not going to be fixed. This doesn't make any sense to me as you can reset the powers of every character in the game including all the multiplayer characters. It doesn't seem like it would be particularly hard to fix.  I wrote back to encourage them to reconsider changing this because I know a lot of players would like to reset Javik's powers and I'd seen lots of others talking about this issue as well.

I'd say this reply was a joke. If not, it's a bit silly, as resetting powers is outside-game-lore anyway. Does Dr Chakwas do brain surgery on them to make them forget powers and learn others? Likely just a bug.

Well, they did also offer me some origin points, but I can't use them since I only play on xbox :s.

Heh. I'll make those Origin points even worse by telling you that if you played on PC you could mod your game so Javik's powers *can* be reset.

This situation is not cool. Hopefully they will change/fix this in the future...
