ok so ive looked high and low to any kind of problem even relivent to this and nothing comes close. basicly, i can run the game fine yada yada but if i try to patch (from original version before 1.10) it totally messes up my saved game in a way that im not even sure how to describe. if i could say....i would describe it as a developer mode or something. or a sandbox mode im not sure, my party does not react, npcs do not respond or react however i can walk around, cast spells and what not but they have no effect. but where it gets intresting is when i start a new game, it simply does not allow me to see the character in the creation menu, so i hit quick play and it throws me into some kind of test room or developer room of sorts. there are several chests named something along the lines of "zll codex chest" or something like that, theres runes, and all kind of stuff inside them. then theres a door just sitting in the middle of this temple like room...it takes me to the world map. but its so messed up cuz as soon as i hit quivk play it throws me in that room, nothing more. with a default bald character i might add(as me) but anyhow the only option on the world map is flemeths hut, i click it and it takes me there and morrigan is there but not flemeth. im so baffled by this, ive uninstalled the game and repatched several times. it happens everytime......someone please tell me im just stupid and managed not to find a simple fix. its quite irritating playing the original version with all its bugs :/ a quick reply would be much appericated.

There is just no one around the place very often any more. I've never heard about / read about any problem similar to yours, and I had a tough time reading that block of unformatted text. You really need to put in the missing paragraph breaks you left out.
The game is three years old, almost, and everyone who liked it is now elsewhere, at least until the next sequel is closer to a release. Sorry, I have nothing for you, but if you hope to interest experienced game players in the problem, you have to make a better try at reporting the situation you are facing.
Use the guide to the report format wanted that Starts with the words "Read First".

i dont seem to have any issue reading that block of unformatted text, however. sorry, im not american. still working on my grammar and proper sentence format. tho i think ive got it down pretty well.
(better) but it is indeed very strange for the life of me i cannot explain what could be getting currupted or altered thats not suppose to, or why for that matter. i can only asume its my own rig by process of deduction its obviously my rig and not the patch or game.
ive never had any kind of issue like this. prehaps ill do a screen cap of the whole process and throw it on fourms and maybe someone will have an idea. its truly strange.
