I have a brand new, shiny gaming rig and want to install DA:O Ultimate Edition on it. I have the boxed retail version of the original DA:O but purchased the Ultimate Edition from EA as soon as it was released. It was installed using the EA Download Manager. Due to limited bandwidth & high cost of internet I don't want to download it all again. I also don't want to have to install Origin on my new machine.

Will the EADM still work & allow me to reinstall the game?

**EDIT**
I've managed to answer my own question - the old EADM program no longer works. On launching, it comes up with a message to upgrade and has only two options: upgrade or cancel. If upgrade is accepted it then installs Origin on the PC.

I don't want to install Origin & don't see why I should be forced to take it. Origin contains different terms and conditions with a different EULA to that which existed when I bought the game & although EA reserves the right to change the EULA at any time, IMO its not an agreement if I never accepted the agreement.

Oh well, no DA:O Ultimate on my new PC.
