Since playing ME3 and completing it within a few days of release, I've been part of the whole retake movement, mass migration to the forums, ect. and for the most part have gotten over the post-ending stress disorder (PESD) and moved on, even if bioware won't be seeing my money from now on.

One thing that has NOT recovered however, is my love of gaming. My Xbox has literally not been turned on since the Mass effect 3 disc was removed and returned to gamestop about 2 months ago. It's not like a concious choice or rejection of gaming, but it really killed my motivation to play anything at all. I can't even play ten minutes of the Witcher 2 on PC, which I haven't even completed yet, without getting disinterested and shutting it down.

On the bright side, I've started reading obsessively and am most of the way through the wheel of time series. Similar experience to you guys or are you reacting differently?

Be prepared for the resident trolls to barge in and flame you merely for expressing your feelings on this and how it's affected your enjoyment of games.

I think the trolls are still under the bridge for now.

Don't let ME3 kill your passion for games like that, man. Keep playing those gems and your wound will recover.

It didn't happen to me, but I have a diverse set of games. Diversify what you play, see if things get better.

Edit: I'm, of course, making this assumption based off of the fact that you listed two RPG's as games you play. For all I know you could be a Street Fighter buff or something.

I've actually been playing Heavy Rain pretty frequently. Now that's a game that takes into account all of your actions and actually provides you with consequences based on those actions. I'm on my third play through, trying to get all 20-something endings.

It'll come back, don't worry. I didn't really game at all for about a month following my playthrough of ME3 but now I'm back to playing Starcraft 2 and Skyrim fairly regularly.

Can't say I share those feelings. I despise the endings but I still play the game from time to time. Just completed Prototype 2 and still in the middle of Witcher 2. I can't see anything being so bad that it would put me off gaming

I was put off for a while. Didn't kill it entirely...but it definitely wasn't as fun for some time...

Also, try to start small. Play something like Geometry Wars, Limbo, the Impossible Game, Trials, y'know something that doesn't require a boat load of investment. Just dumb fun for awhile.

I temporarily revolted from big budget console games for a while, playing strategy and old rpgs on my PC.

Unfortunately, most of the other games I was looking forward to this year were all pushed back for a release next year, but I'd rather those games released finished, instead of 3/4 finished with a rushed final act, so I can wait.

I was also put off badly for a long time, I found I just had to find a game to get excited about, Confessed it may in the long run end up worse if AC3 is a total dissapointment, but for now I can play again. However I have been largely been put off RPGs, problematic as I have only 2 non RPG games. If EC is good I may return but for now I am just playing other types of games. That is my personal method of dealing with it.

To overcome my gaming grief I've been getting into PC gaming - Witcher 2, Diablo 3 etc and that is helping.  You should carry on with Witcher 2 I was very pleased with it.  There are many REAL choices in the game that cause the story to diverge substantially, and towards the end the combat becomes really awesome.  The Witcher 2 did a lot of things Mass Effect 3 should have done.  Most importantly I thought the ending to Witcher 2 was great.  It was tense, cathartic, and there was some real player choice involved.  It respects everything else you have done previously, and it gives you lots of interesting exposition into the characters and setting.  No doubt to tie in nicely with Witcher 3.  I came away from Witcher 2 feeling very satisfied, and clearly your choices will affect the story of Witcher 3.  That to me is very exciting.

I've also been doing some research on writer's craft, plus I've gone back to photoshop painting.  Youtube videos have been great so far.  So excited to see Smudboy's analysis it's going to be amazing.

I didn't have the urge to play video games for quite a while after beating ME3. I'm back into then now though, playing skyrim and diablo 3 now though. Just seems mass effect is dead to me.

I went back to Saint's Row: The Third. Nothing like virtual reckless wanton violence as a good catharsis.

 Exactly the same.

I reinstalled New Vegas, installed a load of mods. Loaded the game up, made sure it was working for 2 minutes and then exited.

Longest post-game grieving I've ever done. Though I gave up on story arc TV shows after Lost, maybe the same is happening here for games, for the same reason.

I experienced a similar condition, I cured it by replaying all Halo games in particular the anniversary edition, Halo Reach and Halo Wars

I am good now and know that even if ME3:EC does not deliver there is another awesome sci fi universe waiting for me and Halo 4 is on the horizon

I know your feeling. I didn't play anything for a month after that....that......."ending".

Now im just playing non-story games like Magic 2012, online Portal2 maps or strategy games like Civilization and Total war. Can't get involved in any story for now. Not because im being dramatic or anything, but because....i don't know, i don't want to. They kind of killed the mood.

What are you reading by the way?

I went through that myself, but i did find a game that halped pull me out of it perhaps it will do the same for you?  the game is Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning, it  did get me out of the not wanting to play any games slump.

If you are into RPGs, just wait for the Enhanced Edition of Baldur's Gate 1 to come out. Not made by Bioware. And apparently, if it sells well, the plan is to make EEs of 2 and Throne of Bhaal as well. And there's even word of a 3. I have long realized that my desire to keep playing Bioware RPGs was simply a desire to find replacements for Baldur's Gate anyway (which I still own and play, it's just showing its age). If the EEs work out, then it's likely sayonara for good for Bioware with me. Not even any wary skepticism, just (ironically) moving back to their old IP.
