If the EC let Shepard reunite with his/her LI and the crew, would you consider picking Destroy? I think that alone would be worth it.

Not if destroy still kills the Geth and Edi

I don't understand the logic behind picking control or synthesis. Both are what TIM and Saren wanted... and um... both admitted they were wrong. Destroy is what you've been setting out to do from the get go. So, destroy all the way no matter what. Shepard did not die, so I would assume the geth did not either, also EDI did not die. So, the StarBrat was lying. It seems clear that the destroy option ONLY destroys the Reapers. And this is without considering the IT.

The "Destroy" option, as it stands now? No, I would not.

I'd probably do it on my renegon femShep just to see what it's like.

But my canon mShep is sticking with Control.

Depends on whether EDI and the Geth actually die.

Or whether my prediction for Control comes true.

I'll never pick Synthesis though.

I'd have one game that does so because I'm a completionist. But in general, my attitude can be summed up as:

"I could not love thee, Dear, so much,
Loved I not Honour more."

I believe the potential effects of Synthesis or Control are more desirable than even a reunion.

Just a random thought...I wonder if Shepard becomes a hologram, like the Catalyst in the Control ending. That could create the possibility of everyone reuniting with each other.

I currently have one Control Shepard to three Destroy Shepards. I might do a Synthesis run before EC is released ... but that's unlikely, I personally can't justify synthesis in my mind. I do not think I would retroactively change what that one Shepard did though. The diversity is what's interesting.

I can understand Control and Destroy... But do you really think someone will ever choose synthesis? I really hope the green ending will be removed from the game in EC.

I picked it, and would do so again. Deal with it.

Unlikely, it seems that it's the devs preferred choice. If it's explained right or does a certain thing they could justify that preference.

They'll find him next to the Shepard VI, then Garrus will have to decide which one is really the real Shepard and disable the other... The ultimate bro-test.

Synthesis is meant to be the "best" ending (I found it disgusting)

"Best" based on what, highest EMS? Because Destroy actually takes that award.

If you read the leaked script for ME3, it states that Synthesis is the "Best Ending" to achieve.

They will be unable to explain right turning everyone into hasks... Even Normandy crash scene is more logical, then green ending.

This. My LI is dead anyways, so it's not too much of a concern. But even if he was alive, I doubt Thane would look kindly on me killing EDI and the geth.

The leaked script isn't canon (though for reasons of clarity, I wish it were.)

They could go the "shared knowledge and peaceful harmony" route.

There would be no possible way to reunite. With Destroy, the Mass Relays are gone forever. At least with Control and Synthesis you can potentially rebuild them.

Ugh... This reminds me of the whole ending in the first place. Full of so many plot holes and loopholes and God knows what other holes.

Depends on whichever Shep I boot up. Octavia, my Biotic Astronaut of Peace (you have to say it with the echo sound effect added in) would never choose Destroy. She's a Synthesis gal to the bone. Even if it means never seeing Traynor again.

However, Natalie "Bullets McGee" Shepard would not have any hesitations. Of course, she and Kaidan had a thing, but then she shot him for Glock-blocking Udina.

I think I have a doodshep somewhere who would EMP the Geth and Edi so he would be able to see Ash.

Depends on whether they're in FTL or in the middle of a Mass Relay jump.

Aside, Control could allow for it.

Iledra2 makes a pretty compelling argument (from their belief in what happened in the Synthesis ending) to go green. I personally don't follow it, but how they frame it is pretty well done and I can see why it would attract people.
