Because I thought it might be fun to take a break from some other games and come back to this one for a little bit, but finding a group seems to take half an hour.  Like, not exagerating.  I just alt tab back in every now and then to see if I found a group or not.  It makes me sad.

Does this depend on the platform you play on? Because on the Xbox I barely have time to settle in before a match pops. It's near instant.

I do play it, not as much as I used to and I no longer buy the odd package- I think I have overplayed ME3 MP to much, so I been trying dragon age origins and saints row 3...

Just tired of trying to find a non FBWGG match. So I started playing on silver and I don't like that I get half as much credits. Last tie I played was yesterday, got 2 PSP's I think then stopped. Might play later on and get 2 more, then switch it off and play something else.

Yeah I've been real successful with getting matches. I'm on XBox. Maybe it's the time you can play? I play at night so it seems a bunch of folks are up drinking and playing MP

On PC, it never seems to take me more than 5 minutes to find a complete group. It could be the time of day you are playing, though.

Sometimes it takes forever to find certain selections, get's ridiculous sometimes.

This. If it takes more than a few seconds, search again.

We just hang around the forums talking. No one actually plays.

I regularly had problems connecting, even with DMZ, port-forwarding, etc. Then I decided to try switching the firewall off on my router. Worked like a charm. No more problems connecting.

You may want to try this just to see if it's a problem at your end vs. the servers or whatever. Then it's up to you whether you're comfortable taking the firewall down.

*Edit* It IS possible to have no problem connecting to EA servers, while having an issue connecting to games.  This turned out to be my issue.  I had no problem connecting and staying connected to EA, but intermittent failures at finding games.

Don't Alt-Tab... Peoples are impatient, and you may have missed a few peoples that get in then get out while outside ME3...

And, don't host, but join game... It seems faster to get a group that way...

Sometimes I get the same problem and it seems to never find a group, but I cancel it and try it again then it usually works the second time.

I'm on PC and have no problem getting matches. I start my own lobbies a lot and it never takes more than a few minutes to fill up. I do work 8-5, Monday-Friday. This means I only play during peak gaming hours.

This.  Joining a random lobby bugs out like 90% of the time for me.  When searching I wait 5 seconds.  If I'm not connected I cancel and try again.  Total wait time to get into a lobby is 20 seconds on average (i.e. it takes 3-5 attempts on average).

I have noticed hosting a game is a miserable affair lately.  I think they prioritize adding new people to games based on how many people are in the lobby.  So the number of people playing does seem to have gone down some.

I'm more or less burned out on it, but still play from time to time. I mostly play with a group of my XBL friends, but if we're ever short a person, it doesn't take long to get a public player.

Sometimes a group of us like to have "fashion shows" with our Asari Vanguards or Geth. It's really quite fun. Don't knock it 'til you try it.

I played last nigth for about 2 hours without any connection problem.
Had more trouble finding a group but it was after 10 pm and I guess we all had to work in the morning.
But the weekend begins today ;-)

I manage to play Gold nice. Almost never on FBW, I guess I have luck when it comes to finding a good match.The stupid lag is still a problem for me, though
