Lance Henriksen and Tricia Helfer have recorded voice-over work for Mass Effect 3's expanded contente.
I knew Tricia had tweeted it, as had Raphael Sbarge, but this is the first time I'd heard about Lance. Here's hoping it's good.
**Edit** It is interesting if you watch the video, Lance is commenting that players felt that the ending was too abrupt when they "Lose." I'm not sure what to make of this really. His interview seems to further poke holes in the Indoctrination theory.
"Usually, when a guy loses the game, the game shuts down; it's over. It's done. The players don't like that,"
also
"I just did another session with them...They were saying there's a little bit of a problem with the abruptness of the ending," Hendriksen said. "So we did a whole series of things to add to the end of the game, to live up to the quality they've been doing."
...side note the press junket was for "TRON - Uprising" if you haven't watched it yet, it's available online here:
I think it's better than the movie they put out.
THis actually helps certain aspects of the indoctrination theory. Currently there is no way to lose. Shepard stops the reapers no matter what choice tyou make, but if one or two of the choices came with a lose condition.......

More hackett? Good, very good. My hopes are starting to slowly rise. I'll only be trully exited when i know i'll see more miranda though, not before. But what are the odds :/
Please bioware, a reunion scene. No words are needed
If you replace "loses" with "finishes" in his quote, then it would make some sense. As it is, it makes no sense lol. Games don't "shut down" at game over screens and nobody works on content extending game over screen because why lol? I dunno, either he confused "finishes" with "loses" or he simply never played a game in his life and doesn't exactly know what he's talking about.Hanabii wrote...

If there's 1 bit of new gameplay (other than conversations of course) I'm willing to believe they would add, it could be a boos battle with Harby in front of the beam. But it's still a pure guess based on no evidence and considering that they've said themselves that there will be no new gameplay in ECliggy002 wrote...
I'm fairly confident that Harbinger is coming for the DLC and will have lines. They are just keeping it under wraps that Keith is involved in the voice recordings.

Two things that BW is doing right. Making the EC and using the VA to leak bits of information in its development. I expect the next VA that is called in will release more about it.

Yep, most people would consider combat/boss battle/new level arena where we're walking around to be "gameplay gameplay". Conversations are partially cutscenes so not the same as pur gameplay with moving your character around. Like I said, Harby boss battle is the only thing I could see them adding, nothing else pure-gameplay wiseTaboo-XX wrote...
Gameplay can mean lots of things. I think most people around here consider that to be combat. If that's the case then dialouge scenes are not gameplay.

Great news, but one thing that still bugs me: BioWare doesn't seem to really get the problem. "There are problems with the abruptness of the ending in which the player dies and the game cuts off".
They completely ignore all the space-magic? So really just "closure"? Not even polishing dirt? Just adding a cherry on top of the pile of dirt? Great...

By the way Bioware. My offer still stands.
If Miss Strahovski and Miss Black say they are coming back.
I'll do it.
The music I mean.
Not them.
God.

Bioware understand the problem. Hendrickson wouldn't have said it otherwise. They wouldn't be doing the Extended Cut if they didn't think they had a problem.
What's that phrase from Bowie's Heroes/Helden?
Dan sind wir Helden, fur einen tag.
We can be heroes, just for one day.
That's what people want. They want to accomplish something.
Majority doesn't want **** added, they want it removed or at least modified.Taboo-XX wrote...
