I ****ing love Lance Henriksen voice work, if he's in tron uprising than I just may have to watch that show after all.

Also him in korra is pretty cool, espically when his lines start sounding like mass effect ones, "The council has made it's decision. They're going to keep the arena open."

Not really, he doesn't truly confirm anything other than to say the player loses.

I really hope he knows what he's saying when he says "when the player loses/dies" because that's so huge.

I have a whole new hope for EC.

BioWare deserves nothing. This is their one and only chance to earn back the respect they willingly tossed aside because they thought they could half-ass the ending to a beloved trilogy.

With enough imagination, Henriksen's quote could even be taken to suggest there's either only lose-scenarios and that's how is is supposed to be, or there's an entire, different "winning" plotline to take at some point; such as rejecting the contrived Crucible project from the get-go and coming up with another solution, only every player misses it (...and those who don't keep quiet about it).

Good thought.  Let's all new up a game and when we see Liara on Mars and she tells us the good news, instead of saying "Finally some good news" (or whatever), just stand mute.

Maybe after a few minutes, Liara will start shuffling around, and say.. "Yeah.. maybe not."  The mission ends and you go on about your business.

Of course it is. Why wouldn't they?

Has this been officially announced? I may have missed something but I haven't seen confirmation from Jennifer Hale or Mark Meer, as already doing actual voice work for the EC.
This is an essential point because without new dialogue from Shepard, the chances that you get to actually confront the Catalyst are slim. And that is a crucial part in opening new alternative(s) to the current endings... (And completely discards the possibility of a new happy ending, meeting the crew, etc...).
