And yet he dropped the ball on this one, and steadfastly refuses to see how he dropped the ball. He thinks that "clarity" and "closure" are all that's needed. Never mind the implications of the existing endings. Never mind the stupidity of the process whereby the existing RGB endings are implemented. Shepard jumps into a beam of light—and all life everywhere is rewritten as organic/synthetic hybrids on a DNA level? Seriously? Did no one at BioWare pass middle school biology? Sorry, but I don't share the faith in Casey Hudson to do anything other than promise things he either won't or can't deliver. I have to go by most recent precedents, not the work of his halcyon days of youth.

That's all I need to know for me to predict that the EC will be a dismal failure.  At minimum ME3 needs a conpletely rewritten ending from Priority Earth forward and that's simply not going to happen.

If the other ME3 LIs are in it then so will Liara, that's a given. Things are much less certain for the ME2 ones.

Kaidan and Ashley are the only ones that have been announced, along with Garrus. That doesn't mean anything. And I'm not getting my hopes up just for the heck of it.

As for the rest of the post, I get that you have no faith, but it's exactly what I'm talking about. Everyone makes mistakes, even the greatest artists ever. All of your favourite musicains, directors etc have at least one bad album/song/movie on tehir resume. That does not mean one mistake means they're completly worthless now and can't do anything right anymore.

Personally, I do.

That's because Liara almost always says what's on her mind.

You have to infer what Miranda is saying from her body language and facial expressions.

That's her character. She doesn't need to say anything to Shepard to let him know that she cares.

Liara talks quite a bit so I would imagine that you would want her to say something.

That was atleast explained though, the ending has yet to be explained.

Wasnt she another one that didnt say much during development though? like I said if kaidan, garrus, EDI and ashley are back I have a very hard time believing that they wouldnt be bringing back AT LEAST all the squaddies.

No new ending. Shepard dies the relays explode, no little blue children for anyone even if you wanted them. Just death, death, and more death. They didn't even handle all the death well like the ending to Matrix; lots of death, but it's worth it so its bitter sweet, not bioware's version of bitter sweet.
So does it even matter OP? Mass Effect 3's ending was compleated by my head canon. It's done for me now. Although because of their history I have huge repect for Bioware and allot of the people that work there, they can keep the Extended cut thanks. I'm done.

I don't know how schedules line up, or who has or hasn't been in for extra recordings, but I was kind of under the impression, that previously the Shepards have had their initial sessions first, so that all the other actors can play off them...

( EDIT: Not that such matters if we wind up with an Animal House style epilogue a'la Fallout 3... )
