Did no one at BioWare pass middle school biology?.
And yet people accepted Project Lazarus even though it's total space magic too so...
Not me. I have complained quite a bit about the Lazarus Project, and the absurdity of the explanation and the way it was presented. Cerberus unlocks the secret of DEATH—and it's no big deal? SRSLY? And that just illustrates another example of the BAD WRITING that is coming from this team.
As for the rest of the post, I get that you have no faith, but it's exactly what I'm talking about. Everyone makes mistakes, even the greatest artists ever. All of your favourite musicains, directors etc have at least one bad album/song/movie on tehir resume. That does not mean one mistake means they're completly worthless now and can't do anything right anymore.
Not really a perfect analogy. Bad movie? Oh well, there's two hours of your life you're never getting back. Bad song? Even less of a time investment. More appropriate would be an unsatisfying series finale to a favorite TV show. BioWare "St. Elsewhere'd" us, and it's too late to unring that bell, no matter how much "clarity" and "closure" they tack onto the existing pile of...stuff. But you'd better believe I'm not going to give this team as much blind faith as I once did when it comes to future projects. Until I see a real sea change, I'm going to assume we'll be getting more of what we've been getting. To have faith in them at this point is foolish. I'm not going to just assume everything they turn out will be "worthless", but I'm going to be a much more wary consumer going forward, that's all.
