Hope future expansions or sequals involve heightened tensions with the Orlesians to the west. Killing humans is so much more gratifying than orcs or orcish-undead types like the dickspawns. Slicing up dudes with French accents would double the fun. Just sayin...

Unlikely, they just lost a war. Other countries would be better candidates, the qunari to the north, the chasind, or maybe even Antiva.

Any of the other would be nice, And I think the other countries would make perfect expansion material.

Nobody wages war against Antiva. Darkspawn are probably the only ones stupid enough.
Those Crows are so awesome they would probably assassinate Archdemon without much trouble.

If we take a step back and actually look at the Dragon age world. It is HUGE in comparison to what we play with in DA:O.
DA:O mainly takes place in Ferelden which is, arguably, the smallest nation in Thedas, which in turn, is just one continent in the southern hemisphere of the actual Dragon Age planet.
Now factor in all the underground stuff from the dwarves, coupled with all the jazz in the fade. There is a wealth of raw material to work with.
I would surmise that not only will all this land mass make for a fantastic setting for an expansion, but for DLCs as well as user made content.
And who knows... maybe if Dragon age as an IP takes off, maybe it will go the MMO route? The Maker knows, they most certainly have started laying down the groundwork for it.

Well, if Sten is a representative sample, and their population is comparative, then the Qunari would roll Ferelden. I don't know the lore well enough to know that though. Chasind don't strike me as big enough players and I don't even know what an Antivan is. Fereldens won their freedom from Orlesian rule, but I don't know if it means that they subjugated them as well? Either way, they might want to return to their former glory eh? Besides, they speak English with French accents and that should be sufficient to make war upon them further.
Maybe an expansion will go back in time covering the subjugation and eventual liberation from the bassturds.

gediv, you may want to read Dragon Age: The Stolen Throne book. I believe it would satisfy your thirst for Orlesain blood

The Qunari at one point took over like half of Thedas before being pushed out. Antiva is a country to the north I think. Think of it this way Fereldan = England, Orlais = France, Antiva = Spain. At least in comparison not to the letter. Orlais is still the most powerful nation at the time of the game despite being pushed out Of Fereldan. There is a little lore for ya.
