 Not really too many spoilers, but, just in case...

When I get to Lothering, the companions make me laugh SO HARD.  
The exchanges between Morrigan and Alistair are golden.  "Let's talk about your mother."  "I'd rather talk about YOUR mother."  etc etc. "Or, we could NOT talk about your mother.  That works for me."
Intimidate the Revered Mother, Morrigan says "Oh, are we threatening priests now?  How fun!"

There's just so much dialogue in Lothering.  And I feel like I blow through the companion chats (especially Alistair, who is not only funny, but also interesting) and then I'm left with... nothing.  I played a Warrior for quite a bit of time (recruited Magi and Arl Eamon). then started over as a Mage.  But I feel like I never encountered as much chatter as I did in Lothering.  Is this true?  The stuff that goes on in the beginning of the game is so great, I hope there's more of it...

It is pretty cool. You'll get several as the bridge triggers them, and you have to go in and out of the chantry (or the inn) a few times for quests.



I love Alistair's response when you threaten the mother/priest. Friggin' hilarious. I'm trying to romance Alistair, so I was unable to free Sten. I couldn't find a dialogue option that would work, other than threatening the priest. So I had to reload and leave Sten for the darkspawn.

Take Leliana into the Chantry with you, the Revered Mother will take her word and give you the cage key.
