I've seen alot of people talking about how they won't buy any non-ending related DLC because there's no point to it, I am fully behind this notion. However DLC sales are most likely not Bioware and EA's priority anymore, the Microtransaction system pretty much solves any lost profits from lack of DLC sales, who cares about a one time purchase of 5$ when some people spend as much as 10$ just on multiplayer packs?

I think that's why all MP DLC will be free, they don't need to make money off the DLC itself, they'll make money off of people using real money to get the new items from the "free" DLC. So while I find the endings abhorrent and I will not purchase any DLC, this decision means little as the lost profits from me will be covered by someone else being taken advantage of by the Microtransaction system.

It's sad, but thats what the gaming industry is about now, I can't believe I used to think videogames could be considered art.
