I just got the perfectionist badge (for completing all possible endings) so I am assuming there are only 3.

1. Morrigan's offer is accepted by Male PC being the father.
2. Morrigan's offer is accepted by PC for Allistar being the father.
3. Morrigan's offer is not accepted by ANY grey warden and the warden who kills the archdemon dies (in which case Morrigan is not pregnant with any of the 3 wardens that were left or the warden killing archdemon would not have died).

I see that you can talk to the other companions (if you did not choose my number 3) after the king is crowned.
They ask certain questions and I wonder if the add ons and/or sequel gameplays will depend on which ending you choose and well as answers you gave while talking to companions after celebration occurs.

From all 3 endings, I prefer the third one I listed. Only because I am a romantic and would not want to live a life without Morrigan and knowing I had a child out there that I could not see. Sadly, at this time in this game, there is no option to be with Morrigan at the end. That is the one constant that does not change at all with any ending from my experience.

There's actually a lot more variations, who becomes king/queen (even u if you wish), fate of your characters, people in your wake, etc. But yes, 3 particular 'types'.

The sacrifice ending was always sad though. Alistair's ending if u ditch him is even sadder.

Yes, I figured there were variations, but I assume there are only 3 final outcomes.

I also found an interesting things at end.

Once the credits are done, it takes you "on the road" and you end up at camp to do add ons, I guess.

My #1 listed above, Morrigan is in the camp.

My #3 listed above, Morrigan in NOT in the camp.

I have not looked at the camp after my 2nd option yet, but I would assume she is there.

Hrrm? I did #3 but didn't go all the way through the credits. I assumed, being dead, that I would not be able to continue and do more add-ons with my dead warden.

At risk of sidetracking:

How exactly does this work? I had a character that married Alistair,
then the Landsmeet picked him as king. Then he killed the Archdemon.
However, he wasn't actually crowned, so Anora ended up as queen instead.

Is there another way to do it so your character ends up on the throne instead?

Right...I thought that too...but, I continued anyway. She was at the camp.

But, I believe the time takes place before the final battle.....

But, it is way it is....they must start is after Morrigan is asked to leave camp or something...

It does an autosave after (or if you hit exit) credits.
But, if you had played game since then, it will overwrite that save (PS3 version anyway as that is what I have).
If you did not play again yet, it should still be listed on your saved games.

But, I was listing more of Morrigan's thing....as I think that will play a part in the sequel /add ons as to which choice you made

I don't know how the OP got the perfectionist without Loghain dying, I still need to do Alistair dies for my 4th

I think it is more for what you do with Morrigan's offer.

But, you could also look at it that there could be 2 endings...

1. nobody dies

2. somebody dies

So, I guess it just depends upon how you look at it.

I did not get the perfectionist badge until I did my 3 choices that I listed above.

Also, I just looked to see if Morrigan was there at camp after credits from my option #2....yes, she is.

So, she is only NOT there if you die.

Another interesting thing...

if you talk to Morrigan at camp (after going thru credits at end of game) with the continuing "on the road"....

my options listed above have different results.

#1....she is at the friend status and greets me "what comes, my friend".

#2...she is asking you the "what is your opinion on love" so this is right at the critical point of her asking you if you love her and she thinks it is best you are only friends.

#3...she is totally NOT in camp.

So, if I was you...I would save/keep any different options, because to me, it sounds like this is important in the future gameplay.

There are 4 endings, and all need to be seen, unless there's a bug in your PS3 version. I did them in order of: I died, Alistair died, Noone died, Loghain died. I didn't get it until Loghain died. (X360)

Well, I only did 3 and got the badge....

So, it has to revolve around Morrigan's offer...not who dies specifically.

You either sleep with her, Someone other than you sleeps with her (Allistar as that is the only choice she gives you), or you refuse her offer.

These are the only constants...and can not be changed. It does not matter who dies in battle..just that she did not get her ritual done.

If someone dies...that is only 1 outcome....someone dies because you chose not to accept her offer. That is only one ending possibility.

She did not get pregnant and so the archdemon went into a grey warden and he dies.

So, you obviously denied her offer 3 times...with yourself, Allistair, or Loghren.

That is all the same choice.

besides Loghain does not count as he is not a grey warden..so, he really does not matter in the final outcomes.

Loghain either dies at your's or Allistair's hand which affects Allistair's view on becoming king.

He is not a grey warden so his options do not count as a final outcome of the pregnancy which is the most important thing.

As I stated, Morrigan leaving pregnant or not, is the ONLY thing that can not be changed.

Just maybe affects the add ons or sequels.

If that was true, then I would have received the achievement after my third playthrough, not the fourth.

*sigh* Maybe this will convince you. For the Perfectionist achievement description, the official strategy guide states:

"Discovered all possible endings (Sacrifice Yourself, Sacrifice Alistair, Sacrifice Loghain, and Morrigan’s Ritual)"

Edit: Oh, and Loghain IS a Grey Warden by the end of the game, if you did not kill him.

Well, I disagree.

In my view..these are the 3 possible final endings that have no options within them.

1. Morrigan leaves pregnant with your baby.

2. Morrigan leave pregnant with Allistair's baby.

3. Morrigan leaves not pregnant and a grey warden (whichever one) dies.

These are the only 3 choices that affect the final outcome.

Who dies is an option or variation of the #3.

So, I got my badge for the 3 possible endings.

At any rate, I really don't know what else to say.

I only did these 3 and I got the badge.

And the 3 "on the road" party camps varied with each one with Morrigan's presence/absence and greeting.

Let's just agree to disagree, my friend.

Maybe the difference in our gameplay was the fact that I killed Loghain all 3 times as he is a rat bastard...hehe..

Seriously, that is why I did not know he became a grey warden. My apologies.

One more thing and then I will shut up about it...

If you counted up all the variations/options in the game...such as siding with werewolves, not defending Redcliffe, choosing a different side for the leader of the dwarfs, being nice, being mean, etc....

There would be endless possibilites for the ending of the game.

So, that is why I stand by my statement of the 3 possible final endings for the game as these, again, are the only things that really can not be varied.

Who dies in battle is just a varation not a possible ending as the ending is still the same...a grey warden dies.

But, as you say, having different warrdens die in the final scene is something I will have to try.

OP, I think your getting the achievement was a bug. I for one have only taken Morrigan's offer once during my playthroughs and denied it every other time, so according to your finding I should not have gotten the achievement. Yet I got it yesterday after sacrificing Alistair...and before doing that I had sacrificed myself, sacrificed Loghain, and taken Morrigan's ritual.

In the PC version there are even achievements for each one of those endings. One for sacrificing yourself, another for Alistair, another for Loghain, and then one single achievement for doing Morrigan's ritual. And then once you get each of those achievements it gets you the Perfectionist one. If it was dependent on who impregnated Morrigan there would probably be multiple achievements for that, no?
