Definitely by this point in the first go round we had heard some word
about the DLC rumors being true. And i mean from Bioware. ive been
seeing topic after topic pop up, speculating on  the next DLC pack
but we havent seen any confirmation from  Bioware. i want this to be
true and i want it soon... i have a million creds saved for the occasion
and this rumor is really keeping me from moving on, game wise. but
if i dont hear something soon i think im out.

how do you guys feel about this?

Patience is the one thing Bioware fans REALLY seem to lack

I feel that if they were to announce / confirm another DLC pack, which was free, it'd be great.

I'm quite worried, however, that BiowarEA will launch the next DLC pack as a paid expansion. Most people probably wouldn't purchase it; so you'd end up with two seperate groups of people playing. Those who do have the DLC, and those who don't. It segregates the community and that's the last thing we need.

I don't really have anything to add besides don't all of your million credits the second after the DLC is released, wait until they confirm the new stuff is in the packs.

Last time when everyone spend all there credits on packs that didn't even have new stuff in them yet, then came and whined on the forums, I couldn't take it.

ive got patience. ive still got weapons and chars to unlock.
even at n7 ~600. i wouldnt mind paying for a DLC provided
it worked at launch unlike the free one. eh i guess im just
a lil over excited about the new DLC and im subliminally
trying to speed up the process.. because we all know
1 single thread on a forum will definitely speed up the process.

Paid multiplayer dlc = multiplayer fragmentation.

Stupid idea. Wouldn't be surprised to see it here though.

I don't think they can justify charging for MP DLC. There just isn't enough MP content as is to entice people to pay for DLC. Most national economies are bad, MP is still pretty rough with it's problems and glitches, many people are already losing interest.

I believe MP is more like advertisement/beta testing for the next generation of Mass Effect. BW is building a base of MP fans, testing code, testing player dislikes and likes for content, balancing classes and gear-ups.

The way they got us into MP was pretty slick. Mass Effect has a large SP fanbase they needed to "convert" into an MP fanbase. I would never have bought a Mass Effect multiplayer game. Now I've tried it and it has potential, I'd consider it.

However, MP currently has no legs as a stand alone game your going to pay good money for. Also, its not good practice to charge your beta testers....they tend to find something else to do. BW would be squandering their fan resources for a few meager dollars now and alienating fans from MP.

Instead, keep your ME3 fans coming back to MP and testing your product by giving them free DLC. BW gets invauable feedback while they build the full blown ME Multiplayer. They also build a large fanbase that will immediatly go buy the full blown game from what was a SP fanbase.

yeah dude, nice reminder.
if you scroll down on the spectre pack you see info about resurgance items beeing in there. exactly what he said. if you are collecting money wait till the info is given with the packs.

i know i wasted a million like that hehe ;D not gonna happen again.

There are many other games out now, like Diablo 3 and Game of Thrones will come out soon.
They should release the DLC soon, if they want to keep gamers busy until the new Extended Cut comes out ;)

I think at this time you should just move on to another game. Once your bored of that game, you could try to go back to ME3 if you still feel like it after such a time and then the DLC should be out. As far as i've gathered from "contacts", the Rebellion DLC is real, but won't be out this month.

In order not to break the MP, I think it´s gonna be free.

Yeah, think they make more money by not having it a paid DLC. Besides if it was about the money they could just make the Rebellion pack cost 2 million credits, but only 200 MS/BW points making it so more people would pay for it.

Yeah Chris said he hopes they can announce it by the end of the month & last weeks operation said "THE VORCHA WANT IN". That's good enough for me.

I figure Bioware/EA probably makes a pretty penny just on people buying packs with real money in the first place, but I'd understand the desire to charge for DLC. It's only natural. Nevertheless, people are being charged for it to some degree or another. After all, none of the new characters or weapons are to be coming pre-unlocked when you download it, you'll still have to get them from those packs. I suspect the week after it drops will be plenty profitable regardless of them charging for the opportunity to get those packs itself or not.

I'd really like it if Bioware/EA would see the popularity and surprising longevity of their Mass Effect 3 multiplayer component and take a great leap forward with the concept. And I'm, like, totally not implying anything with the use of that term or anything. For serious. Super serially.

All I know is that there are new things coming out that is playable. Am not really interested in "Speculation Details", unless it is 100% confirmed right info, like a BW source.

One solution would be making it free for everyone, while paying for it automatically unlocks, if not all, a good amount of the weapons/chars (like, getting a pack with 15 weapon cards and 15 character cards, which should be around half the total content [assuming 3 new weapons, ofc])

I believe that Bioware would have announcedd the pack if we had completed the weekend challenge. they drop a big hint confirming the rumors in this statement "This task is an onerous one, and many of you are right to dread contact with these particular foes, but rest assured that we are prepared to reinforce your battalion with reserves. The vorcha want in, and as soon as they complete combined-arms training with our technically-skilled personnel"

Emphasis on vorcha
