Since he was so talkative about the game, but is silent about extended cut, maybe he was too busy boasting how good the game would be to actually make the game good. Y'know, kinda like what Peter Molyneux does with every game he ever makes. The silence shows more effort is going into the game than into PR this time.

Not an easy time for him. Wonder if he will be responsible for another huge Bioware-game. Unleashing one of the (if not the) biggest sh**storms in the history of video-gaming is not the best reference you can have on your record.

Don't know if it would be a good thing if he leads the development of the EC. Don't know him personally, but if the rumors about how the ending was created are true he seems to be overly convinced of himself. Not the best basis for admitting mistakes, the first step towards fixing them.

However in that particular case I am wondering why Mac Walters, the real reason the game turned out like this, is still pretty active.

Well, ofcourse we've all thought about it. But then you've gotta drive all the way up to Canada, either taking the time to get a passport, or just sneaking across the border, then youI've gotta spend so much time stocking him, learning his routine, when he arrives at work, when he leaves, when he takes his lunch break, all in an effort to learn when is the best time to preform the abduction without getting caught, then you've gotta have a place where you can hold him indefinitely where no one can hear him scream, and since he can't just make the EC all by himself, this has to be repeated so many times to get all the necesarry programmer, and each time, you need to break their will so they'll make the ending we all want without resisting.

Really, but the time all the necessary planning is complete, EC will probably already be out, so its just not worth the trouble.
