I made a spell that shall randomly summon any one of the devils given below;
Hell Hound
Cornugon
Night Hag
Erinyes

But how do I make it summon 2 or 3 hell hounds at once. ?
Thanks...

Simply an a integer that's a random number, and summon that many.

Not so simple, it only allows one per standard code -- second one unsummons it.

I have multiple summoning set up via dominate, and some other fixes, but that is just one means of implementing it. It is something that requires an overall system though, you have to touch things all over the place to make that work.

What i did for monster summoning line of spells is configured off of 2da files, has a central handler, and you can enter in terms like 1d4+1, and allows a character to have themed summoning, summons based on their class, deity, or just something special assigned by their DM. ( largely configured by onenter scripts ).

So i just have the one spell, and if you are a druid you have the natural spells, and a wizard has the arcane spells, but if you happen to have demonic heritage or worship a evil deity, or are inside of hell you get demons.

( and i have my monster pack which is set up to tie in with the above which you can find on the vault, and blueprints which still need some balancing, but which are not completely out of control )

I solved the problem in Shaar Moan by spawning extra 'defender' creatures who are scripted to follow the actual summoned creature.

If you find a certain rat figurine, you can summon a dire rat called Ben, who also has a random number of lesser dire rat minions. The minions had heartbeat scripts that caused them to follow Ben (even across area transitions) when not in combat, and to disappear if Ben was killed or unsummoned. Otherwise they were just CreateObject() creatures rather than summoned creatures.
