Ben Browder is wonderful, he has a strong masculine voice. Plus you get him and Claudia to work together again. Ahh... one can dream!
Bruce Campbell is also WONDERFUL! He can voice act for me anytime!
I'd love to hear a woman with a strong Irish accent. Makes me all tingly in my nethers.
Oh and Brendan Gleeson! He is a topknotch actor and has a great voice!

I think it's just that most games have terrible voice acting, or perhaps one or two "star" actors with a bunch of mediocre voices doing the rest of the characters.  Or the actors tend to get over-used and every character ends up sounding the same (I'm looking at you, Oblivion).

The BioWare games tend to have extremely good voice acting, and since it is rare that so many of the voice actors are so good in a single game, people actually take notice.

And to be honest, I had to look up some of the actors I suggested.  I didn't remember the name of the guy who did Margulis in Xenosaga, for example.  I just remembered that I really loved his voice, and IMDB came to the rescue for the purposes of this thread.

Yeah. Chris Judge would be an interesting Qunari. I mean, Sten kept reminding me of Teal'c anyway.
Shanks? Hmm...potential foil for Morrigan who is constantly exasperated?
Browder? Definitely! But I'd want him to go on something like that 'I am an American' speech in Farscape.

What about Gary Jones? Maybe he can be some guard you can hear when entering a walled city, calling out to unlock the gates or something...
David Hewlett would be nice, too, methinks. Oh, and Torri Higginson, too!

Talented unknown voice actors (there's hundred of thousands out there) that way we don't have to listen to a DA character and be thinking 'oooo its that actror off telly' and completely breaking the immersion.

THEN use the money saved (not paying overpriced actors) to actually make the game better and less buggy which is what really matters...

On the show Metalocalypse) They would make awesome grey wardens.

Other voices I would like to hear in Future DA titles Include:

Mike Patton ( he did voice work for The Darkness, Left for Dead 1 & 2, also Lead singer for Faith No More). I think he would make a great dark spawn.

Bobcat Goldthwait  (voice of Zed in Police Academy www.youtube.com/watch) his voice just screams tranquil.

Doug Bradly ( voice of PinHead In Hellraiser) would be great for a wicked companion or a internal voice in your head driven you mad ( I think a PC or Companion  deteriorating into Schizophrenia and/or possibly being tormented by real demons could make for interesting character drama for a voice actor to play).

ok, i'm gonna have to go slightly nerdy and say what about some of the voices from the animated series "The Justice League" and "Justice League Unlimited". Hell, even voices from the animated Batman series, Superman series and Batman Beyond.



George Newbern who was Superman, Kevin Conroy/Batman (who BTW has an AWESOME singing voice, if anyone remebers a certain episode ), Michael Rosenbaum/The Flash (ugh and who didn't love Flash, seriously? he was great for a comedic foil), Mark Hamill/The Joker, Arleen Sorkin/Harley Quinn....there's so many!



I can't be the only one who thought they had good voice here...

I really don't think it breaks immersion. I have seen Claudia Black in Stargate and Farscape. I actually don't like her too much in either. It took me a few hours to realize this is who voiced morrigan. And most of the time, I don't relate her voice acting back to her. Maybe it's just me, but I really don't think much of her when Morrigan is talking. I think of Morrigan and keep on playing.

I think the most important to bring back are the Romance options, so:
Claudia Black
Corinne Kempa
Steve Valentine
Jon Curry
In addition, to add some spice, I'd also include:
Tim Curry (I know Arl Howe is dead, but he has a great voice)
Martin Sheen and Adam Baldwin (since Bioware already has a working relationship with them)
Patrick Stewart (VA experience, great voice)
There's also alot of actors out there who haven't been in much lately that I bet you could get for a pretty good price (Antonio Banderas, Eddie Murphy, Bruce Campbell, Bill Pullman, Kurt Russell, Stephen Fry, Nathan Lane, Bob Hoskins)

and to round out my farscape reunion fantasy:
Ben Browder
Wayne Pygram (great voice)
Anthony Simcoe (great voice)
Lani John Tupu (great voice and VA experience)
Basically, if you get any of those, it'll be a well voiced game.
