It seems like Bioware is just ignoring us.

Ooo, burn.
As for the original post, their current stance is 'wait awhile, we will show you' with the extended cut. They are aware of our concerns.
It just seems that they are unresponsive because they don't know want to just give us the 'this is what we were thinking when we made this....' response, they want to show us the story as they intended us to see it, and by adding more detail to the ending they hope to do just that.
I think a fair share, and probably the majority, will still hate it since they're most likely not going to go with Indoctrination Theory and they're not giving us new endings...but, that is their response to the situation, and what really will come, only Bioware knows.

They would not be spending thousands of dollars creating something to give you for free.
You simply choose to believe something you cannot possibly know.
Wait.

The problem here is that too many people equate listening, with bending over backwards to please them.
no the issue is people want answers right now and sadly even if they did get some they would still say welp they lied or there history with da2 should prove you cant trust a developer
people just really need to stp being so negative because the more they continue thinking that way there gona hate everything

Only way we will find out is via the extended cut.
Just hope it works, we are not prepared for the great ***tstorm of our time.

I think the EC will be pretty good but the bsn will be a scene of devestation and destruction that day, the likes of which the world has never seen.

i understand that they are in the process of making the extended cut but that doesn't make it ok for them to block anyone on twitter and facebook you even mentions the ending or asks about the extended cut.
Why not? Those people don't even bother to look up the stickys on the forums or even google or something?
It's a fact that they're pouring all their resources into making the EC, and it'll be out this summer, so continue to bug them about it is just idiotic and should be blocked anyways.
They've stated that they're listening, kept topics open for people to put their suggestions in, and are doing everything they can to get this EC thing out and done properly.
The idiots are the ones that keep asking, we know when the EC is coming, just not an exact date.
It'll be ready when it's done, and there's nothing they can say that will make anything better unless the EC is out, so they're keeping their mouths shut, the smartest thing they've done since the game came out...(artistic integrity being the worst thing they've said since march).

They only block those who insult them via snide remarks regarding the ending. Plus Jessica Merizan has said that she will no longer be talking about the ending, due to it being incredibly annoying and redundant. If you want to open a proper dialogue, then treat them with respect.

I disagree, I think a second failure on Bioware's part would trigger an even bigger fan reaction than the first time. Right now alot of people are just on pause mode of their rage phase, if the DLC is done wrong that's gonna get resumed with added rage at the same time. The rage from the previous failure is still lingering, so an added trigger would probably send the community on another rampage, and since they said this is the only Ending DLC, if they fail this time, fans will completely betrayed, even after expressing how they originally felt betrayed. It'll be a combo rage, the likes of which video gaming history has never seen.
I still believe ME3 has had the most controversial release/ending ever, the whole rampage led to what 80k in donation? I've never heard of or seen another game do that, obviously this game has entered a whole new level of story telling in video games, they put it together in such a way that the average player can get attatched to characters and the plot. Those feelings are still with most of us, and those of us who were disappointed are still disappointed, we've just silenced a bit to give bioware one more chance. But if they blow the chance, oh yeh, it'll be huge.
All I've wanted for months now, is to just know what my characters do in the Reaper free Galaxy, I want to know what happened to the different species over time... I spent 3 games trying to save the galaxy, all I want to know is if I actually did so or not. I'm willing to look beyond space magic, I just want closure.
