So, I start up D3, and the very first person I meet is none other than our favorite templar, Cullen! A bit later, I hear Fenris as some random town NPC. It happened again and again with various people. I only recognized a handful of voices, but there were several more.

Aribeth (ok not a DA character, but it's where I know her best), Caridin, Cullen, Fenris, The Guardian (of the temple of Andraste), Irving, Morrigan, and Mouse (who is playing a templar, amusingly) are the voices I recognized directly. But there were several others I didn't, including Arishok, Keran, Loghain, and Sandal.

Sadly, IMDb's page for Diablo III isn't fully updated yet, but Blizzard was kind enough to include full voice credits, which I screenshotted and cross referenced using IMDb to find our actors. There are many of them, in addition to many others that are also in ME and SWTOR.

For the other VA obsessed people on here, my screenshots are linked below with actor names circled for your benefit.

Meanwhile I just learnt that the guy who voiced Alucard in Castlevania SoTN was the voice for wise elf in Origins.

Not related to D3, but ME3 has the meeting of the Hawke's during Jacob's quest. No way it wasn't intentional.

Yeah Greg Ellis (Cullen's VA) is in loads of games, especially recently. He was even in Uncharted 3 (as was Alistair and Morrigans voice actors.) It's like you can't escape DA voice actors... Not that I'm complaining!

Greg Ellis - Cullen.
Steve Valentine - Alistair.
Jennifer Hale - Everyone, and their mums.
Claudia Black - Morrigan.
The guy that voices Fenris.

There was another one... I've forgotten it. There's a lot of them though.

Simon Templeman - Loghain. He's the blacksmith, i just went to salvage stuff and remembered.

He's not in it, although I thought I heard him once too. I posted the actual game credits...

Not DA, I think, but Grey DeLisle worked on both BG games.

They are only in there because those actors want money and they got the part to play the characters.

The female Monk makes me constantly think of Cassandra as well, especially with her hair XD.

I know Jacob's new girlfriend was femhawke but who was male hawke in that quest?  I know if if Shepard stabs wrex in the back when he confronts Shepard on the citadel he smacks male hawke out of the way lol

There is a moment during the part where Shepard is meeting her while inside the base, they share a few words before he moves on and Shepard talks to her. (Try and find that scene, I didn't catch it at first either) Then after that scene in ambient dialogue the person voiced by Boulton mentions something about "who cares who Shepard is" or something to that effect, made me giggle considering the comparisons.

Edit: a detail or two might be innaccurate in my description, i can't quite remember the scene flow.

Cool I will keep an eye out,  I love little crossover moments like that.

Or that the entire Floatilla was filled to the walls with main characters from DA: O

Did anyone also notice some peculiar pointers towards DA?

Like the Templar's name being Kormac (spelling?), like the hero that supposedly killed Flemeth in the Legends?

And the blacksmith's last name being Eamon?

(come to think of it, was the word "templar" even used in Diablo 2? I think the guys from Zakarum were referred to as paladins?)

I'm sure there were some more strange things I just can't remember everything right away.

Oh and I felt like I was hearing Fenris EVERYWHERE.

The hero who killed Flemeth was actually called Cormac. It's an uncommon name but not that unusual (for instance, there's an author named Cormac McCarthy).

I did notice about 5 different NPCs with his voice, yeah. I think he also does the Tomb Robber lore entry. Quite amusing >:D.

Well I'm not sure what the Templar's name in D3 was spelled like, but that's quite irrelevant anyway. You and I both know that if it IS an easter egg or something of the like, changing one letter is quite a common move with developers.

I just find these little strings of coincidences intriguing (even if it might quite well  mean nothing).

Templars, Cormac, Eamon and on top of all those DA voice actors.

I mean I wouldn't have found the Templar's name weird if he wasn't voice by an actor from DA:O (tbh I initially thought he was the dude who voiced Loghain, was quite surprised to find out it was actually Mouse).

I could be wrong but the standard imperial soldier voice in Skyrim for example the one that tells General Tulius that "the Headsman is here"  during the intro when your PC is brought to Helgen sounds like Fenris's VA
