Please tell me that's a joke, right?
The image indicates a perceived overzealous/imbalanced demand for buffs, which many of the other posters are also articulating regarding the OP.
Added hilarity for image containing the N7 Eagle, hands down the most disappointing weapon in MP.

...maybe I shouldn't have picked a fight with the :police:, but hey, quis custodiet ipso custodes.

EDIT: reassured to see I've been ninja'd by several posters indicating the same grievance.

I wouldn't backtalk a mod. The BSN mods seem to very happy to ban you for almost anything, so it would be in your best interests to just "move along citizens."

We're on a website arguing about how worthwhile a character in a video game is. The entire thread is "nothing of value." It's all just meant to be fun, isn't it?

(But moving on, I DO like the aforementioned character, and don't think he needs buffs)

I'm not usually one to complain about moderator action, but for once, I think this seems a little excessive.

I'm willing to take a warning/ban as to protect our 'artistic integrity'.

I'm with the moderator. If the image added something by being witty and related to Turians then that might be different...

Back to Turian's... I find them a solid reliable class, particularly the Sentinel. Always feel compelled to dress in 'Garrus Blue', just seems the right thing to do...

I would say.  This is a head scratcher.  I've seen this and the nerf one used as replies numerous times.

You guys need to stop. Thomas made his decision, and it is done. Causing excessive drama over the issue is not needed.

I suggest you drop it.

Wow Thom when people post the nerf all the things photo nobody ever issues a single warning but this poor soul posts a buff all the things and you warn a ban? How rude!

On topic: Yea turians are weak little weasels that run and look funny  Buff them!!!

Didn't Garrus dive into cover in ME2 just before he caught a missile with his face? Mayb that's why Turians no longer do this moneouver.

Not to be rude here but... that reply to BoomDynamite has no value to the thread either. This could have been done in a Private Message rather than in front of everyone.

I came in here because I saw that "BioWare" Stamp on this thread and thought they were going to provide some useful inside knowledge on this topic. But it contributed nothing to this thread. Sad

Back to the topic. They need a jump to the side like the qurians and salarians. They are like a wooden plank with a gun. They can roll from cover to cover which is nice. They just need a standing dodge.

Marauders can dodge... Garrus can dodge... THere's only one reasonable explanation for this:

GARRUS IS A MARAUDER!

Pick up that can!

What's really aggravating about Turians at times, is that they're too fat for most low cover. Enemies keep getting potshots on your hump and you'll never get your shields regenerated. And the Atari 2600 runs faster than the Turians. Atleast Krogans and Batarians have increased storm speed.

*Applauds Thomas for doing his job.*

Why is it that some people seem to think breaking the forum rules (5 & 6 if you can be arsed to read them) is OK? You all agreed to them to even be able to post here. Don't like them? Exit and find somewhere else to hang your hat. It's simple - their forum, their rules. This is not a democracy.

Get over yourselves.

On topic: Think I'd prefer a dodge myself. Though to be honest I rarely play the Turian's because they are susceptible to getting drilled due to no quick step action they can perform.

As a soldier, I just simply slap on a revenant and go epic Turian mode. That seems to cut down on a lot of problems, until I run out and I get majorly swarmed. They do need a dodge though, you would think huh? They may have huge collars, but that doesnt mean they would tip over.

Edit:

Well yes, but that's only a result of his transformation to Archangel, as described by Joker.
Most Turians still have their mobility limited by the stick that remains lodged in their unmentionables.

But on the serious, as is I perceive the Turian lack of mobility frustrating but not outright imbalanced.
I proposed in another thread that less mobile races should be granted dodges and rolls with Adrenaline mods. Probably Adrenaline I would still only buff movement speed, Adrenaline II would allow sidestepping, and Adrenaline III would allow forward and backward rolls.
It was also suggested that the mods reduce likelihood/duration of stunlocking. That might become problematic with balance, but it's worth taking into consideration as well.

For the image, it's been posted so many damn times(along with the nerf version of it) that it has lost any and all meaning, and now pretty much exists just to troll people that are saying they think something could possibly use a change. Though the warning should go to everyone posting just that image and nothing else =P

To actually be on topic with what this thread was originally about, as I said in another thread I think that the Turian's extra health/shields and stability don't entirely make up for being unable to dodge, but at the same time I don't think it cripples them either. Both the Turian Soldier and Sentinel are very solid characters right now. If any race needed some love, I would say Krogans are in need of it the most.

Sorry: Inaccurate. Garrus did NOT dive. :police:

(Not unless getting your legs shot from under you or being blown into cover by an explosion counts as a dive)

Plenty of evidence on youtube, under 'Garrus injured'.

This is why I got a little upset.  I've seen it so many times, but this is the first time I have seen a mod take exception
