This is SERIOUSLY making me angry. >_<

I am the kind of
gamer girl that likes to play male characters, and when I discovered
that femshep gets to bag Garrus, I totally converted to the dark side. I
started playing the series over from 1 on my xbox as a femshep. I had
the same hair style and look for two whole games... I became rather
attached to it.

So you can only imagine the HORROR I felt when I
went to upload my Jonah and her hair was HORRIBLE!!!
*BANSHEE SHRIEK OF DOOOOM* In fact, I hated pretty much all the hair
styles, the only one that look remotely not HORRIBLE on her was...drum
roll please... the one that made her look
EXACTLY LIKE SPECIALIST TRAYNER!

Literally, my dark skinned spectre with bright green eyes and dark lipstick looks like Trayners twilight zone twin.

I am NOT amused.

So
I thought, maybe if i look at the default femshep I'll be overwelmed
with her prettiness and select her .... O M G! WHAT THA ... she doesn't
look to bad on the cover art... but upclose.. she's a wittle bit
frightening... *shudder*.. can you say "duck lips" *whimper*

Are
all the hair styles horrible... will one of them eventually grow on me? I
liked my short chin length cut that always looked a lil wet... the new
style that replaced it.... is underwelming to say the least.

*slight update. was so irrate that I started over.... yes. lame reason to reset, but it bugged me that I looked so much like Traynor. I chose Dr. Michele's/Dr. Chawkas hair style. Still not happy that they messed with my hair though.

I would have liked to have at least one long (read-shoulder length, like Ash) hairstyle, personally....

Yes, i like longer hair myself. I just don't see why they had to muck with the hair. it looked great. now it's all feathery and transparent in some scenes. which i totally gon't get.

Agreed. I like them better than the ones available now. Yes they might look more "realistic" but we were used to the other styles. There should have been an option for those that were importing characters for "retro" looks versus "realistic"

My femshgeps never looked so good in ME3, the only sad thing is that they didn't promote the old "CustomSexy" so it's left untextured, but otherwise, I'm really pleased

I dislike all of the bun styles, but I always hated those anyway. I think everything else is a massive improvement.

When I sent Osbourne to ME3, I was expecting an E-Mail on the Normandy for a hair implant store on earth. It looked like a weave. And to think he had ample credits to get a really good weave I left him ample credits to use in the ME2-3 gap. He had a full healthy head of hair when I saw him in ME2.

Still waiting for that bill for hair implants.

I agree completely. i hate how the only blonde hair options in ME have only a bleached blonde look.

I don't like them either. My favourites in ME1/2 where the 'tied up' ones, since the others looked like soggy straw - then lo and behold she appears to be smuggling baked goods in those now, judging from the strange... mass they make at the back of her head. Now I often give me FemShep's NO hair (ie the buzzcut)

Welcome to the club. I have no idea why Bioware decided to take out hairstyles (for male and female) that were in the first two games or tweak some (that made them look worse), yet decide to add in new ones? Bah.

I would love to have a shoulder length hair option, My hair is about waist length so it is very jarring for me to always have such short hair on my sheps..... i think i would love a casual hair like they have casual clothes, that way i could have my hair up and out of the way for battle, and out and beautiful when on board the normandy etc.

Yeah, the new hairstyles are pretty terrible. I had to switch from the tight bun to the short curl because all the others looked terrible and poofy.

(I’ll mention that the ongoing face import bug thread has various solutions for various lady-Shepard problems, but not hair…)

I almost always end up just using the ponytail hairstyle because it's the least annoying IMHO. I just tell myself that her hair grew really really fast during those few months she was on Earth.

Don't forget, Dragon Age (1 and 2) also has a huge modding scene that also adds more hairstyles/colours/tones and other customization options as well.

I thought that ME3's hairstyles were a huge improvement, much more realistic looking IMO.

I think the bob-style haircut in ME3 was a huge improvement over 1 and 2.. looks a little more real (though still plastic-y looking). Although not gonna lie, I got used to the old short hairstyle in 1 and 2 and I miss it, my femshep just isn't the same.
