1. Infiltrators who don't cap objectives when they're the only Infiltrator on the team. I get that shooting things is more fun than darting around the map turning things on/off, but if your class is the best suited to a certain task, that task should become your #1 priority when it arises.

2. People with automatic weapons who spray Stasis'd targets and screw it up.

5: People who use missiles when they dont need to
4: Shame-gel users
3: People that run into a mob to revive someone and end up dieing themselves.
2: Getting dragged 10 metres across the map into a Banshee insta-kill
1. Getting revived and instantly stabbed in the stomach

Hosts who rage quit. Fine, be pissed off, but wasting the time of three other people and making sure they get nothing despite their efforts, when you're probably the ONLY one without lag and STILL can't cut it, is weak as hell.

About 5 out of 6 gold games this has happened so far today. Over it.

5. Getting disconnected late in the game. Never fun.
4. Geth Turrets. They can go straight to hell.
3. FBWGG. Whatever, fill your boots, but can it not be the result of every random search, please?
2. The way tankier builds tend to become comparatively obsolete next to glass cannons.
1. Myself, whenever I'm not playing as well as I can and ought to.

#1: Lag. The source of most of my frustration with this game. Disappearing projectiles, glitching vanguards, wasted bullets, immortal enemies, seizure-inducing jumping around the maps, failed damage indicators, just in general all the false difficulty that forces you to react immediately to things that happened several seconds ago server-side.
The worst part is that so much of it could be remedied with superior netcode, superior matchmaking, and a simple ping function. The latter two are incredibly common in multiplayer games and should be pretty easy to implement.

There are other sources of rage, but lag is by far the worst.

5 to be revived right next of 3 phantoms/brutes/banshee and get permakiled
4 people wo don't use consumables when needed (rockets/medigels)
3 people who revive you in front of a turret and die with you in the attempt
2 banshees who magnet you from the weirdest angles/positions
1 I still have to figure that out

If that Wave 3 is an enemy target wave, that player is probably better than you.

yeah. no. if you need your rockets on a wave 3 gold target objective you shouldn't be playing gold. or maybe that's just me. one rocket maybe if time gets short on the first one, but that's only if the rest of the squad insists on shooting everything else except the target. also, one rocket to initially clear out the blue circle hacking objective place goes fine with me, the defense of said place should be done without more cobras though. it's not a myth that rockets come in extremely handy on waves 9-11 (when you shouldn't treasure them like the memory of that first kiss Billy-Bob gave you.)

Ooh. Can I do another one? Just one.

Hosts who quit during the game. I don't mean get disconnected, something happens in "real life" and you need to go. Literally just quitting the game.

I was on a FBW/G/G run during one of the Op weekends. We got a bad 4 hack objective in wave 10. Everybody goes down but me. I try to revive where I can, but we got overwhelmed and it was time to bug out. I whittle the enemy group down to one last Prime, sweating, sticking to cover, running like hell. Get him down to a couple of bars left on his armor and "the host has left the game." I nearly threw my controller at the tv.

If you know you don't have time to play, don't.

There is a purpose to using a missile on wave 3 to eliminate the first priority target.  If you kill a banshee / atlas / prime alone, then another one will simply spawn.  But if you can missile your target along with a bunch of other trash units, the objective is likely to switch to an easier type of enemy.

Farmers. Who have no idea what to do when there's the downloading objective to complete. And they insist of farming DAMN REAPERS. And quit when then die on the other side of the map, surprised that no one came to their rescue - sorry, we're kinda busy here, doing the actual job.

5) Everything aiming at me as if I'm the only person on my team.
4) People that use medi gel on wave 1.
3) Lag.
2) Enemies literally spawning behind me (has happened on FBW and FBG where they have spawned less than 3 steps away from me -.-)
1) When something shoots at me.

I'm just happy to get through gold at the moment, getting better tho, but most of the above apply to most of the silver matches I play. I find playing gold with the people I know can do it thus teaching me, is the way to go.

This is going to be tough... Since many things get my going on Gold.

5. When the boss unit is down to one bar of health and gets a missile to the face.
4. When you see five missile get shot at a group of enemies with the 2/3 boss units and they all miss.
3. The lone wolf that tries to tell the team what to do, screws up the spawns, and gets downed when facing one trooper, then yells when you don't run through the entire wave of enemies (plus the trooper he couldn't kill) to revive him.
2. Getting to wave 10, having a hack in the WORST spot (you know that one, in the open, on Giant, right?), beating it SOMEHOW, then losing connection.
1. When my 5-2 happens all in one match.

Another one that I would put with my 3 was low level or unexperienced players acting like they're a boss in the gold lobby, then send you hate mail when they're kicked or you back out. If everyone in N7 20, with a level 20 human soldier, and an Avenger I... Of course I'm going to quit.

I've had enemies literally spawn on me because the "lone wolfers" or the "gold experts" like running around and standing in all the spawn points... Except the one I'm near... Where everyone has always held out... -.-

I'll use another Giant example. You're in the lookout, but that one guy wants to run around the extraction area. Now all the hunters spawn in that ditch near you, climb the ladder, and take you down while you're trying to snipe and/or wondering where everything spawned.

I've actually seen this happen from my experience. Sometimes, the first two bosses on wave two are the targets. Sometimes, the second target is not the boss. I'm not sure the mechanic behind this, but he's not COMPLETELY  wrong.

1. Losing (especially during the wave 10 objective)

That's it for me, pretty much anything else I can deal with as long as it doesn't cost us the match.

sure, i've seen switching target classes over and over, yet i never tied it to rocketing the first target. and i still don't get why someone would. but as i said, maybe i'm the one who doesn't know. more likely though, someone mistakes a coincidence for a general rule.

also, who cares if the targets are 4 atlasses on wave 3? every regular gold player should not take this as a threat but as a welcome opportunity for some more xp.

2: Bronze players joining my Gold Reapers matches (not their fault, match in progress system)

3: Random unlocks - not gold specific but relevant

5: Geth Primes

1: Disable the devices on Wave 10

4: Disconnects

Nothing special, I think everyone finds this stuff stupid. Except for Geth Primes, most people would pick phantoms or banshees as their most hated.
