Is anybody besides me unable to upload updates to the Vault?

Yes, I know about NWN Nexus, amongst others.
But what I want to know is if anybody else is having issues uploading updates to existing Vault submissions (my current issue) or having issues uploading new submissions to the Vault (I have not tried that since the other issue began).
I have already contacted several people regarding this, I am just trying to assess the scope of the issue; if it mostly me, then that becomes useful information for me. If it is everybody, it becomes useful information for the folks at IGN.

Had that same issue a couple weeks ago. Emailed Maximus and it was working again within a day.Carcerian wrote...
Yup, been a real pain, and others have apparently had same issues..

It seems like its available after stuff is published, but only for a short amount of time.
Either that or its some new anti-spam thing they are trying?
It's happened after ive done a few updates in the same day...
(uploads wern't huge, all <25mb ones and under 5 total...)

I have loads of patience, but the vault is trying that to the limit.
However, the vault is still the only real repository we have. Yes, the Nexus has started an NWN section, but unless we go and download everything from the vault and re-upload to the Nexus, we are out of luck. 99% of the original authors of the material we all use and love are long gone from the community, so the Nexus will never have the number of files that can be found on the vault.

Works for me. But I think the gremlins like me now. :-PCarcerian wrote...
Has anyone noticed if FTP access is affected? (ie the protocol used to upload files larger than 25 mb)

Hmmm, somehow overlooked this.Carcerian wrote...

There is an ftp site for submissions that are over 25mb in size. I'll PM you the details tomorrow morning.
You ftp your upload including a readme (or a pm/email) that tells me what project to associate the files with. I go in and fire up the "Large File Tool" It asks what the uploaded file is and the destination project and I hit "go!" It copies it somewhere into the IGN bowels <ewwww! boss! i'm eating here...>
Heh, snails. Your point? <*raven glare*>
The disappointing thing for me is the (Robin Williams Voice) Phenomenal Cosmic FtPower! itty-bitty file access. I.e. I can't persue my diabolical plan to archive the Vault, 'cuz I can't see the files directly :-(
