1. Synthesis cannot be attained from SP alone. Minimum 4000 EMS is required. The max total TMS alone is ~7200 IIRC, and the 50% multiplier cuts that down to ~3600.
1. The check for EMS is right before Cronos (Hence why the final checkpoint is set here). The only Asset you acquire after this is either the Reaper Brain or the Heart, depending on your choice about the Collector Base in ME2. If you don't have 4k+ before Cronos, then you're locked out of Synthesis. Like I said, it's impossible to get 4k without any outside assistance (Not necessarily only MP). Either recreate a 50% 4k+ and take a screenshot or I'm calling BS.
2. It doesn't matter if you played it on Legendary or not, it's canon. Remember Halo was also 100% linear, with 1 ending (Requiem being an addition to the core ending)
4000 points for Synthesis, WHAT? You only need 2800 points to get Synthesis option. 4k+ is needed for breath scene, and this was not the point. I don't need to prove anything, because like you said, you can get ~3600 EMS with no MP. Starchild told me about the Synthesis, I ignored him. Check your facts. Speaking of which...
Getting Anderson killed by TIM is like loosing 1000 points. At least Im not calling anyone liar, I just rembered badly.
2. Now I'm lost. YES, its canon in Halo, Shepard breathing is as well. Who said there was a problem? I just called a cutscene few people can see an eastern egg and you wrestle like a bear...
1. What? Quite literally, EVERYWHERE (No matter what website) says it's 4000. Never once has it been refuted, apart from you. 4000 is required to unlock every ending. You still haven't provided me with any actual evidence about this, only anecdotes (Because those are always trustworthy).
2. I was wrong earlier. In the game files, the highest TMS possible is apparently ~8300 (take with a grain of salt), but it seems most people cap out around 7700, due a bug that still hasn't been fixed.
3. It doesn't matter if Anderson dying loses Asset points, since the final flag is checked BEFORE CRONOS STATION.
4. Except there is no "set canon" for Mass Effect, apart from the broadest, most general terms (Shepard defeated Saren, Shepard defeated the Collectors, Shepard defeated the Reapers). Halo, unlike ME, has 1 set-in-stone canon. Unless it is clearly joke material or non-canon, it's a part of the story. the Requiem addition to the Legendary ending is canon, regardless of if you saw it or not.
