Okay say if our Wardens do appear in some form in Dragon Age 3. Well for us Morrigan Mancers.
If we didn't go through the Eluvian with her and Did the Dark Rithual. Well i would like for a scene where the Dragon age 3 protagonist is with the Warden and hawke and Morrigan is supossed to meet them but she dosen't know the Warden is there, and it could make it a really emotional scene where Morrigan sees her lover and her Childs Father . It would be awesome she could introduce the kid to the warden while us as the protagonist encourage them on. Really something in this shape of form has to be in Da3 if the warden appears and we did all choices mentioned above.

I wouldn't have too high hopes for former player-characters to show up as NPCs. The Warden was referenced in a few lines in DA2. Actually showing the PC onscreen raises questions of old gear and your old saves....

Plus, well...would you really want to WATCH that scene? What if YOUR Warden doesn't react the way you think he should? Is the game going to remember your Warden's personality as well? Mass Effect 1 didn't even keep track of that: you just picked the line that sounded most like what you'd say. Paragon and Renegade are another game.

It's a sweet idea, but I don't think it's going to happen.

I'm pretty sure the whole "Witch Hunt" DLC doesn't change anything regardless of what choice you make, think about it- the save file you transfer to the next game takes place before you've even decided whether to go with/kill Morrigan.

IF THERE EVER WAS A TIME FOR THAT SCENE (AND I DON'T THINK THERE WAS - IT'S INCONSISTENT WITH MORRIGAN AS A CHARACTER AND THE TONE OF THE FIRST GAME) THAT TIME HAS COME AND GONE.

I agree. The chances of seeing our Warden are slim, and I'd say the chances of getting the Warden to look anything like how the players originally wanted them to would be a disaster... just looked at the rendering of Morrigan by the engine in DA2 for an example of how hideous a standard, non-edited conversion would look.

And that's assuming they could even load the Warden appearance at all - just look at all the problems EA/Bioware had with the ME3 face imports - an issue that has taken months to fix. All that work just to get a possible cameo of the Warden?

The work that would go into a Warden cameo does not even come close to the bang--for-the-buck the developers would get, assuming they were able to pull it off without offending the memory of literally every fan of DA:O who had a pre-conceived notion of what the Warden sounded, looked and acted like.

Witchhunt is NOT canon.

I am going to guess that when Morrigan does appear in DA3, she will be depicted in a similar manner as Flemeth: a mysterious and powerful magic user who's true power is unrevealed and agenda is unknown, save for a few scraps of cryptic information that rabid fans will use to argue over, fuel head-canon battles, and hurl personal insults on the BSN for years to come.

bah. thats against her character imo. I did in fact go through the portal and it would be cool if they were on there own important mission (like the wardens in the qunari attack)  a short cameo like that would be cool as long as they didnt screw up there faces... and my warden had his twin swords that i got him duncan's dragonbone and warden's companion dragonbone, keep him "cocky" if he's got lines (which im on the fence about) honestly its such delicate terriotry i dont know if they'll go there. I would like a cameo reference of the two together at least .

My god . I'm talking about fans who made the choice to romance , do the ritual and not go through the portal in witch hunt that is canon in our playthrough. And a few devs stated there is a good chance the Warden and Hawke will show up in Dragon Age 3 which will be almost 10 years after Origins in some way or form even if only a short cameo.

My only warden who love Morrigan is the one who go through the eluvian's portal and never to be heard again ( except in my own custom made single player campaign ) .
