So far I've been very impressed with how this forum has handled a number of issues but I'm shocked at the response to this thread.  What a bunch of small minded horrible jerks.  

OP only asked if there are likeminded people that he can friend and play with, which I think is perfectly acceptable.  If anyone of you did this in a the thread where someone asked about gay players or if someone asked about other female gamers or probably a number of other threads... Oh, I can just imagine the ****storm.

Notice that the OP has been perfectly curteous throughout the conversation.  So far he's not done anything against anyone of you, in fact he's acted a lot better towards you than you did to him.  But somehow all of you decided it's perfectly fine not to award him even the most basic courtecy.  

It seems all the jerks on the forum convened on this thread.  I hope you are the same players that will kick anyone if you don't like his level or load-out or if he takes 20 seconds to get ready, that would just let someone bleed if you think he did something stupid the second time or even rez block him etc.  If not you have some serious disconnects in your value systems.

OP:  I'd be happy to play with you, unfortunately I'm on PC.

There's nothing wrong with this thread. On the thread requesting LGBT (maybe it was just the G) players the mods said it was fine to want to play with other players that share a lifestyle or other commonalities and create threads accordingly, religion should be no different.

I'm guessing the OP just wanted to avoid ppl likely to swear or use (to him) upsetting language. It's fair enough. No need to troll him for it. And no, it's not like racism or sexism because faith and behaviours are choices, so this request is not discriminatory, in my view.

That might be the case but what we want and get are sometimes two very different things.

Seriously though, this is paramount to discrimination and it is as bad as asking to group up with people based on race, sex and sexual orientation, yes you might be looking for like minded people but is ME3 multiplayer really the place for that? Everyone's a gamer here and that's that. Race, sexual orientation, etc. shouldn't matter, but everyone has their opinion. Plus, on the pc hardly anyone ever talks! What is up with that? The only overly talkative person I've come across was some idiot with a Krogan Vanguard who yelled "Oh man fuuuuu**!" everytime he got taken down, which ended up being literally every fifteen seconds during a Gold match because (surprise surprise) he was running around like a fool. Looks like I bought this headset/mic for no reason.

But it wasn't God in Christianity sense. There are multiple "gods" in Chinese culture, like hinduism. Not so blasphemy.
